Hired a 4 berth motorhome from North Shields for one week. We have enjoyed every minute. They fully explained the ins and outs of how things work very clearly. There was also a well thought out step by step guide (with pictures) inside incase of any problems. The van was clean and well equipped when we picked it up with a full tank of fuel. There was a phone number to ring if you had any questions or problems. Lovely people to deal with and we will most definitely be happy to use them again. We will be recommending them also to our family and friends.

"First motor home holiday - brilliant!"

This was our first motor home holiday. We booked a 6 berth to give us a bit more room even though only 2 adults and 2 kids. Marie who dealt with the handover was very friendly and explained everything to us before we set off. We drove up the east coast of Scotland and back through the Cairngorms. Motor home was excellent, we had everything we needed, really enjoyed the experience. On our return, Marie met us again to do the handover which took no more than 10 minutes, very straight forward and professional. Already thinking of planning our next trip and when we do, it will be with Motor Home Kings, would highly recommend and already passed on details to interested Facebook friends. Brilliant!

"We got motorhome last year and was…"

We got motorhome last year and was impressed by service and van. This year many things were broken in the van (we couldn’t even open a window due to an arm being broken) the maintenance is obviously lacking this time round. We noticed damage on the bumper which was noted by a line on the checkout form but on arrival back from our holiday they tried to blame the damage on us and said the line was for other damage. This damage has been repair previously and as a result it’s cost us £300. I question the honesty of this company. I also left some cash in the van along with my phone. I went back to pick up my belongings and they claimed to not know about the cash until I offered to go check as I knew where it was - they then found my cash. I will be going elsewhere in the future

First experience hiring a motor home. It was so comfy, all the facilities were great. Brilliant service from Marie who even rang us on her day off to help with a query about the boiler. Would highly recommend motor home kings and we will be hiring again!

"Couldn't fault the van BUT ☹"

Couldn't fault the van, cleanliness and handover but couple of things upset us a bit.
The deposit does not automatically come back and has been a bit of a chew getting it back.
A wing mirror was damaged and the charge which I thought was a bit excessive was given with no discussion. We had photo evidence of who damaged it and there registration but they said it was something we had to pay for and not the insurance company to follow up. The figure was done strait away over the phone while away without looking at it and was for a full total replacement.
One of the speakers was not working on the radio and one time the vehicle would not start when we were far away from anywhere. We were informed to call out there recovery but after 45 minutes on hold and no answer we tried it again. Luckily it started this time. It seemed to be a fault with the starter motor. We informed them of this and they said hopefully just a one off with no offer of replacement vehicle etc.
For the rest of our holiday we were worried if it would not start again and had to plan our stop offs in places where there was amenities so unfortunately missed out on some places we wanted to visit.
I thought with this they might of considered some leeway with the wing mirror cost but no.
We probably would of used them for a couple of times a year but this has made us rethink our plans.

Camper we had was fairly new & in great condition all round.
Any issues or help we’re resolved very quickly even though the problem I had was very minor.
Will definitely hire from them again
