"Great Engineers, excellent experience. "

Our appointment for install was on Christmas Eve this week, between 8am and 1pm. The engineers turned up promptly at 8 and assessed the job. It was not an easy install but that did not stop them. After working out the best solution they got on with the job and completed it without any issue, leaving us with fully functioning fibre to the property WiFi. Dave, Gavin and Kristoff were very professional, friendly and knew exactly what needed to be done. I was very pleased with the overall install and the team that did the work.

"Absolute cowboys who don't communicate"

Absolute cowboys who don't communicate, damage property, lie, etc.

We were hopeful that they would offer a better deal when compared to existing broadband providers however it's been a nightmare.

It took months to get anyone out after signing up. The person who came said they can't do anything as no survey was done... This then doesn't get reported back so we spend another couple of getting harassed to book our installation when they still haven't done the prerequisites.

Eventually they sort all of that mess out and then they can't install and they need permission from the landlord to do works.. fine. But then they fail to send anything so again we get harassed to install.

Eventually get the paperwork and send it to the landlord... Only for Voneus to come out and butcher an install without permission, damaging the property in the process. They refuse to amend the damage saying we signed a contract... However they didn't have permission from the landlord to do anything.

Thankfully our landlord is dealing with the issue but I wouldn't recommend any take the risk with this company.

"Not good for rural areas"

I have rural broadband and it’s shocking!
I wouldn’t recommend, and customer service nonexistent, over a week since I emailed them without reply nor recognition of my complaint.

The local engineers have sent the report back 20 times now and still they are not accepting there is an issue

As those who read reviews will see this is not the first time I have written but Voneus is so appalling at responding to its customers that only public shaming will do. I STILL have no internet after 8 weeks, nothing since 28th October. At one point they said their 'emergency response team' were on to it but they appear to have disappeared into the ether. There are no phone numbers to call other than customer services who have no power to do anything except express their sorrow at your plight. I occasionally get apologetic emails from someone who does not have the courtesy to give me a phone number or direct contact for emails so I have to resort to this ridiculous method of getting in touch. I have repeatedly asked for the formal complaints procedure and an Alternative Dispute resolution procedure, both of which have been ignored. All I can say is be warned about Voneus, once connected and they are taking your money they will ignore you and woe betide you if something stops working.

"Unstable technology and rubbish service"

The system has gone down regularly recently and is clearly no longer fit for purpose. Calls to the call centre get the recoded message suggesting we log on to the website: well, you know what, if he system is down, that's a bit difficult! And calls to the sales line this morning are greeted with the encouraging message that the last caller had to wait for more than 30 minutes - SALES?!

The process of signing up was very straightforward and was followed up swiftly by the installation. The engineers arrived at the time Voneus told us they were due and were very careful and thorough. Getting the cable through the house wall was challenging as they are 4 feet thick but the engineers did a superb job.

"Not has internet for weeks"

Not has internet for weeks. Brilliant at installing and then forget about you and then don’t fix it when things go wrong.

DO NOT GET THIS BROADBAND.

If not this fixed before will Christmas will have to leave as ruining Christmas and can’t work from home.
