"What an absolute joke!"
What an absolute joke!
So I purchased a used car last year with a warranty. Came back to have the water pump and belt replaced as it had been missed on a previous service. Days replaced both. Upon starting the car the next day the coolant light cane on as the coolant was empty. Days checked it, said no issue and topped it up. A thousand miles later... coolant empty again. Car checked over again and was told it was fine.
So again the coolant is empty so I called the garage to tell them and they told me to use Days assist to recover the car to Days Motorpark.
Called today for an update to be told the car isn't there. Days assist said they had delivered the car and had photos. I had to go to Days motorpark to find and point at the car. They then decided that they did in fact have the keys....
They haven't even looked at the car this time and have told me that it must go to volkswagen for diagnostics and repair and that I am responsible for getting it there... So now I'm at a loss once again. Avoid like the plague!
Update: Service manager and his buddy came out to be intimidating. Hopefully someone higher up reviews the footage of that interaction as it was clearly intended to intimidate. Service manager has said they won't look at the car as I had previous left a review because of bad service. So now they won't look at or rectify a problem which only happened because of their work. Trading standards it is. Left without a car now until Volkswagen look at it on the 13th May. No courtesy car, no help. The car is used to do school runs due to disabilities so we are now left without transport.

Regarding the same Peugeot boxer I bought from days Neath, after spending almost a month at Peugeot for engine management, Dpf issues and some other faults. Also had no replacement vehicle for that time resulting in thousands in lost earnings whilst paying costs for insurances etc. I had it back for two weeks and has now had a complete breakdown with the engine seized. This is going to be off the road for about 2 months clearly been sold quite a bad vehicle and am now awaiting to find out wether I will be getting my money back or get a replacement vehicle while this van is back in Peugeot for the foreseeable future.
