All i can say is thank GOD i found this Dr!! Very informative, quick replies, nothing is too much for this man and his team! I went for my gastric sleeve april 2023 and ive lost nearly 9 stone (would have been more but i had a pregnancy after my sleeve). I am continuing to be supported by Dr Suleyman, will be returning for plastics soon! Thankyou!

I had gastric sleeve surgery done by Dr Suleyman 2 weeks ago and I can honestly say it was the best operative experience I have ever had. From the moment you arrive till your discharged he is there on hand checking in to make sure you are ok and have no issues. The hospital is so clean and the nurses can’t do enough to help you. The whole experience while scary was made really calm and comfortable. I’d recommend this man to anyone who ever asked.

After thinking about surgery for the last 3 years & even booking up then cancelling with 2 other clinics because I was so scared I finally felt ready to go ahead.
I contacted Dr Suleyman Akilli & spoke to him directly on Monday 30th December 24 he answered all of my questions and put my mind at ease, my surgery was arranged for 12 days time. On 11th January 25 I arrived at the hospital very scared & nervous I was greeted by Arina the co-ordinater who is such a lovely lady, she answered all my query’s & talked me thru step by step what was happening. I was taken for several tests which they do so fast & then once complete admitted to the ward & taken to my own private room.
Once I got the all clear from tests for surgery to go ahead I was gowned up & a Canula was placed in my arm ready for surgery, I was told I would be going down at 11am.
Dr Suleyman came in my room asked if I was ready then the team took me down in the lift to theatre. All the time staff reassuring me telling me everything was going to be fine.
I woke up from surgery with Dr Suleyman by my side holding my hand which was so comforting & measuring, I felt groggy but had minimal pain. I was then taken back to my room to rest & was told the surgery had been a success.
Everyday Dr Suleyman came to see me twice a day & the hospital staff took really good care of me. Everyone was so friendly even the cleaners who made me laugh everyday.
Arina also came to see me several times after surgery and brought me my protein shakes. Nothing was a problem for her. I Dr Suleyman is one of the loveliest people I have ever met, he really does change people’s lives He has a Facebook group where he offers helpful hints and tips and anyone can ask dietary advice on there.
I HIGHLY recommend Dr Suleyman Akilli to anyone looking for a bariatric procedure.

I met with Dr Suleyman in Manchester 4 months before my surgery to ask lots of questions about my medical conditions and suitability for this surgery. I also asked lots of questions regarding the before, during and after surgery. Dr Suleyman was very open and honest answering all my questions without hesitation or holding anything back from me. I knew I could trust him. I proceeded with the surgery on 4th March 2024. I haven’t had a bad day since then. I’m now 6 stone 2lbs lighter and as well as having a brand new range of clothes being 5-6 dress sizes smaller, I’ve a whole new healthier happier lifestyle.

I was very skeptical and apprehensive with booking with Dr Akilli however hands down the best experience i have had. Communication the care given and the support recieved and still recieving is amazing. Its like Dr Akili has created a supportive online bariatric community and its a postive place to be. Words cant really express my journey as its been mind blowing but i will say that Dr Akili changes lives and ensures that he personally keeps in touch even months after the procedure.

I had a revision gastric bypass with DR. Suleyman in October of this year. I did a lot of research and i knew as soon as i had spoken to him, that he wad going to be the one i was going with. He is always on hand to answer any questions you may have, that is before and after surgery. Nothing is to much bother. He checks in with you at the hospital everyday you are there. Id highly recommend him and his team

From beginning to end my experience was amazing, no question to big or small, always kept up to date with information and what to expect.

When arriving in turkey the pre op checks were thorough and the staff helpful, Dr Sulleyman was always on hand for any questions and popped in twice a day along with his amazing team who were supportive and knowledgeable. I felt very safe with all the information given to go home and know this will succeed
