After 2 failed surgeries in the UK I was wary about going back for another never mind in Turkey. I needn’t have worried from the very first interaction with Dr Suleyman and his coordinators I was treated with more care and attention than I ever had in the UK.
My surgery in October was a complete success and I am now on my way to a healthier and happier life all thanks to my surgeon who really does care for his patients both before and after surgery.

From the second I contacted Dr Akilli, he totally put me at ease answering my MANY questions.
There are so many surgeons offering the sleeve op but he just shone out.
His beautiful coordinator organised everything for me and met me and my partner at the airport and literally talked us through everything, translating anything we couldn't understand.

The actual operation went so smoothly and, after waking, the hospital team took the greatest of care for me and I was relatively pain free from day 1.
My scars healed so quickly and were hardly visible and my weightloss was incredible.
The aftercare Dr Akilli and his team gave me were second to none and nothing was too much trouble.
He even has a Facebook group where he offers helpful hints and tips and anyone can ask dietary advice on there.
I HIGHLY recommend Dr Akilli to anyone looking for a bariatric procedure.

I decided after a year of following his successful operations to go with Dr Suleyman Akilli, I was scared and needed lots of reassurance as it is a huge decision to make flying out to another country and putting your trust in them, I am so pleased I did he was a lovely genuine person who really listened to what you want, we spoke and decided on my process and I was really happy with our plan, I was really nervous and he put me at ease as did Arena the coordinator she spoke English too which made it so much easier to communicate, after my survey the DR came in to see me al the time making sure I wasn’t in pain or feeling sick, he got straight on it to ensure you were correctly medicated too, I would definitely recommend him to anyone thinking about taking this huge step, I’m chuffed I have lost 1 and a half stone in 6 wks, 🙌

Had the best experience with Dr Suleyman

I travelled to Turkey from Scotland in April 2024. The staff at the hospital were amazing from the moment I arrived. My husband came with me and had a bed and got his meals each day, he was also well looked after.

My pre-op tests were very thorough and this put my mind at ease knowing these were being done to ensure I was fit for surgery.

The Dr was so friendly and took time to speak to me and explain everything before my surgery as well as checking in regularly afterwards. He still keeps in contact now 8 months later

Highly recommended! In 8 months I have lost over 7stone. I have got my life back and feel absolutely amazing!
