We sent our 2 year old rescue German Shepherd to train with Polly-Anna. He was super reactive with other dogs and Polly managed to get to the source of the reactivity and helped to guide us on how to help our boy improve.
I felt very comfortable leaving him with Polly as she has experience with larger dogs and GSD’s. He came home to us in good condition and a with a few new manners.

Very happy with the service and will certainly be recommending.

"Five star residential training"

We recently signed our 11month old bulldog up for a residential course, Initially for general obedience training. We decided to go with broad marsh kennels in the West Midlands so a bit of a journey for us but so worth it. Ted stayed there for two weeks and His trainer Holly kept me updated every step of the way with photos and videos. We signed up to this whilst we went on holiday rather than using normal kennels and honestly what a difference. His behaviour has calmed down, he’s not jumping up at everyone, I can take him for a walk without him taking me which has made a huge difference to the time we spend together. I received a very detailed report about what Holly had taught during those two weeks and how to ensure we maintain the advice given. I can’t thank Holly and Broadmarsh Kennels enough. Will definitely use for a refresher course if needed in the future. Five stars from us and a very big thank you again Holly!

"Intensive training that delivers results"

Holly was just wonderful. From the first time she met Vinnie and assessed him to the handover and training session for us she was clear and insightful into Vinnie's behavioural issues and way to counteract them.

During the intense training itself she kept us regularly updated with pictures and videos of his progress and has followed up with us directly after training to see how we are getting on.

Vinnie is still not "perfect" in his behaviour reacting with other dogs, he possibly never will be, but he has progressed significantly in the time he spent with Holly and My Dogs Trainer.

I would definitely recommend their services to anyone who has a dog needing some polishing!

Holly in the West Midlands branch of MyDogsTrainer was such a professional and did such a great job with our extremely energetic Spanish Rescue - Holly sent videos and texts everyday showing Betty’s progress and answered all my queries and concerns. It is a huge step to send your beloved family member to a residential training course for 12 days but my concerns were swiftly forgotten when I realised how committed Holly was to my Betty and training her as requested by us - we know the training is ongoing and does not stop because Betty is home with us but to know Holly is just a text or call away fills us with confidence - I would highly recommend Holly to train your dog and show you how to follow up to ensure your dog and others are safe

"Great experience, definitely worth the investment"

We left our super excitable chocolate Labrador at Broadmarsh Kennels with Holly for 5 days.

We specifically wanted to work on his excitement when meeting other dogs and recall. Holly was fantastic, I could tell from the videos sent over she made a strong connection with Harley almost instantly. She gave us updates daily and ran through techniques we can use to reinforce some of the foundations she set with Harley.

He’s been home for a few days now and there is a noticeable difference in his behaviour despite the short stay. Would highly recommend and definitely money well spent.

"Positive training experience"

We left our 14 month old labradoodle Albie in the care of trainer Holly at Broadmarsh Kennels in Stourbridge, West Midlands. Albie is super sociable but get hyper excited on walks and when meeting dogs and humans. It was obvious he was very happy in Hollys company. When we picked him up after 5 days he was brilliant on the lead walking, stayed close and generally a lot calmer. We have another labradoodle at home, 18 months old and unfortunately when they got together it seemed like Albie wasn’t listening again! But using the skills Holly taught us we have managed to get him back to where he was and he’s much calmer on the lead and his recall is much better than before. He’s a powerful dog, 32kgs so we needed him to stop pulling which he doesn’t do now. We’re both enjoying our walks much more which is great 👍😊

"Great experience! We’ve been given the experience & knowledge to help our dog - and he knows what he’s got to do too!"

We took our 9 month old German shepherd to Caitlin in the Oxfordshire branch as he was very excited, jumping up at people & mouthing them, just wanting to be friends with everyone but not being polite about it at all! We also wanted some help with loose lead walking because he pulled LOADS & even more if he sees another person or dog that he wants to meet. Caitlin sent me multiple updates throughout the 12 days, including videos & photos. When I picked him up she went through a few of the training bits & let me try it out myself. Don’t get me wrong he still gets SO excited when he sees people & other dogs, but we now have the knowledge & skill to get him to focus more on us. It can still take a little while but he knows what he’s got to do & will settle WAY quicker than he used to. It feels a lot more manageable already & it’s only been a few days since we got him home! Caitlin’s also already checked in on us to see how it’s going & invited us to get in contact for any more issues going forward.
