Order arrived and it was wrong, returned and they only sent me half the original order back.. no response from email or phone - still waiting for order to be fulfilled 3 weeks plus and counting !! Shocking

"What has happened to Quba?"
What has happened to this company. My visits to the west country used to be made the better for visiting Quba and the delightful staff that worked there, now all the staff seem to be constantly changing in any store i have visited over the last year, stressed and obviously have no idea what they are doing. I can see they are trying but this is not the company it used to be, it used to be such a relaxed place to visit. quality of product has also flown the nest it would seem, just mass produced rubbish. Quite sad really.

"Bought clothes online"
Bought clothes online, they looked great on the website but once I received them unfortunately they were just not for me so I have returned them for a refund. States on the website that refunds will be returned by 2 working days. Over 10 days gone and still waiting, no contact from them, I have called but no answer and the message says to fill out a contact form online, does this and still no answer, e-mailed them and no answer. shocking company and I will definitely not be buying form them again. Sort this out Quba and contact your customers

"Quba sailcloth bag bad stitching."
Quba sailcloth bag had stitching missing where it had not caught on a seam, clearly a manufacturing issue, refused to accept the problem, I had no access to a receipt as it was a gift, the bag says Quba sailmakers England, the label hidden inside clearly states made in China. Premium priced product, very nicely styled, but let down by typically poor quality control, they need to raise their game on quality if they want to maintain a premium reputation and maintain a premium price, similar bags can be bought at half the price, but fall short on style, the oversized zip is a particularly good feature. Have previously been very happy with Quba products. They will only be value for money if they are well made, good quality and fit for purpose. I like to buy British, but that loyalty has to be earned. Sorry Quba, but faulty stitching is just not acceptable.

"X10 jacket not fit for purpose. Customer service offered a bottle of waterproofing solution, which failed. I was going to stand in the shop and show my displeasure. Due to Covid shops were closed."
I bought a Quba X10 “All weather Technical Apparel to our perform the elements” jacket £250. It looks great.
I’ve only worn it a few times over the last couple of years as it’s not very warm with out additional under layers. Recently I had a 20 minute walk in heavy rain with the hood up and to my great disappointment I found that the jacket was useless at keeping the rain out.
I complained and Quba customer service weren’t interested as the jacket was more than 6 months old. As my jacket Had spent most of its life in a clock room and not been washed I don’t believe it was ever water proof!

Sadly the same experience as below regarding customer service is happening to me
Bought a jumper online. Noticed stitching/lknitting very loose where label attaches
Sent photo Not David Bailey standard but clearly shows the issue. I even placed it over a white background (navy jumper)
However customer service person cannot see the problem and when I expressed my confusion at that I got a slightly snide reply.
It’s not the first time I’ve had a problem a promised refund was never given (a price match) and I have also had to return a jumper that quickly fell apart at the seams
Having said that I have been pleased with other items, and have bought a number in store (Bude) as well as the occasional purchase on line
The most ridiculous part of this is that I am well within the return period so what they are really quibbling about is refund of postage! It seems a very strange way to treat a customer - not least because I have reordered a replacement as there was only one left available! I’d hardly be returning the first one if it was ok!

Bizarrely I have just received a response - more than 3 1/2 years after I left the review!

"Poor quality product"
I purchased a coat which was fasly advertised on the website as 90% down, when it arrived the label stated it's in fact only 50% down. The coat arrived with dirty marks on both sleeves. A pen mark on one and grease on the other. I sent it back asking for a full refund on the coat and of the postage and only received a refund for the coat! I Will never buy from them again nor will I ever recommend them to any family or friends! Their emails from customer "services" I felt 2 was very unprofessional and frankly came across as disinterested and rude.

"A member of your staff let you down"
Returned an X10 jacket and was treated very badly by a member of staff
The jacket was faulty and she did eventually replace it but when I got home I was so disgusted by my treatment I took it back and got a full refund.
The young assistant was lovely but this woman came out and started going on again!! I told her to please leave me alone and couldn't get out of the shop fast enough. Not only shall I make a point of never buying from Quba her rudeness cost Quba £225. Today I really felt sorry for the lovely young assistant she was shaking

"Colur leakage on a water resistant coat"
A supposedly water resistant jacket of green and white with a blue collar on first wash as per instructions on the garment leaked blue over the white areas ruining the jacket. Reported this to the manufacturers who refused to deal with the issue. Sadly will have to go to court. Don’t buy from this company
A reply to this was posted yesterday 9th October 2023. 4 years 8 months late. If it takes that long to comment, how can this company know what other complaints they have had?
I want to add that I have NEVER used bleach in my washing machine.
