I am so grateful to God for leading me to the Pass program. I came into the program with a lot of knowledge but it was scattered all over the place. I went to the pass program and my life completely changed! I passed my qualifying exam for step 1 and I also passed step 1 and now I am celebrating with my family. If you are not sure what to do and feel lost in your step 1 prep I would recommend you try the Pass Program. The atmosphere in the classroom is unlike any other you will experience, there is so much peace and the knowledge and information you receive is worth the price and time! I can't wait to go back for step 2 God willing! Glory to God who makes all things possible!!

"Why I recommend the PASS program"

I don’t think I really understood medicine before coming to the PASS program. Dr. Francis really helped me look at the bigger concepts of medicine, understand what normal physiology was, and taught me how to put together the right mindset to answer questions. I highly recommend the PASS program to any medical student, I truly feel like the current system of relying students to teach themselves is not conducive to higher education. This is the first time where I felt that someone properly taught me medicine.

"Disappointed—Not Worth It for Step 2 CK"

I had high hopes for the Pass Program Step 2 CK On Demand Course after having a great experience with the Step 1 On Demand Course, but unfortunately, this was a huge disappointment and a waste of money.
1. Practice Questions Are Awful – The questions are poorly worded and nothing like actual USMLE-style questions. Instead of helping me reinforce concepts, they just frustrated me.
2. Low-Quality Notes – The course notes are riddled with errors and not helpful at all. They don’t add much value and feel poorly organized.
3.Lectures Are Not Engaging or Effective – The lectures feel like I’m just watching a classroom session instead of being taught. The instructor reads straight from the slides and provides minimal extra insight, making it feel like a passive experience rather than an active learning tool.
4.Lack of Depth & Explanation – There’s very little emphasis on clinical reasoning or high-yield Step 2 material. It doesn’t break down Step 2 concepts in a way that’s helpful for applying knowledge to vignettes.

I purchased this course because the Step 1 version was great, but I deeply regret buying the Step 2 version. If you’re looking for a structured, high-yield course that mirrors the USMLE format, this is NOT it. Save your money and go with a better resource.

PASS has been a huge boon for me, having spent months doing nothing but memorizing flashcards and drilling questions. If you are like me and struggle with reasoning your way to the right answer, this program can quickly identify holes in your learning. I was able to pass Step 1 because Dr. Francis taught me the basics I missed even when I had memorized much higher order information, and with that I was able to reason my way to better answers while taking my exam.
