"Another Pricing Error"

I can only tell it as I find it. I've placed five orders with TyreTraders spread over the past three years, two of which they've later cancelled after taking payment, claiming their price was a mistake. One mistake in five orders might just be bad luck, two mistakes in five seems to be a trend. Whatever the reason, they've seen the need for a disclaimer on their website to protect them from their own pricing errors - either just for me, or for any other customers that also experience this.

By the way, if you do end up as unlucky with the prices, don't expect anything resembling customer service - when I phoned enquiring about the missing order, they couldn't have been more dismissive. I'm still hopeful after 4 days and chasing by phone and email that they'll eventually bother refunding my payment though. (After-note - I did finally get a refund, but then I was hardly going to write off over £70).

If you are lucky (to be fair, I was lucky for three out of five orders) then their products are quite good (they're black, round and fitted my car, although maybe because they were made by someone else!) But for me, 60% success rate doesn't really cut it these days and has killed off any thoughts of repeat custom or recommendations. Fortunately other online tyre sellers are available and I'm delighted with the (latest) replacement order.

Ordered online, simple click each step for mobile fitted, mobile turned up on the day i had clicked, 5 mins into the PM time i wanted so perfect all round with the 4 tyres ordered, all done within the hour, all inclusive. On the advice of Chris of Tyre Traders I purchased a set of four Altenzo sport comforters, and on 17/11/2013 I was able to give them a thorough test as I was caught up in the M5 tailback that occurred on Sunday morning after spending the best part of three hours I decided to leave the M5 and complete my journey via the back roads and lanes.
This provided the perfect test for my new tyres, wet leaves slippery road surfaces and misty conditions the tyres could not of got a better test, I was extremely glad that I chose Tyre Traders for my tyres and would recommend them to anyone and especially the Altenzo tyres, excellent product, and supreme advice, and quick delivery service.

The tyres were very easy to view and order online, and when I phoned to speak to a member of the sales team, the phone was answered quickly and the guy I spoke to was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I'm always a bit wary buying expensive items online from a company I know nothing about, but I will most definitely use them again when the tyres on our other car need replacing.
