I talked to an ADA and suggest if you’ve been a victim to reach out to them so this guy can get more complaints and more charges! If you google Alex Hollinger, you’ll see the news articles! Love when karma actually works!

I sent jewelry to them and have been waiting since December for payment. they sent me 3 checks that could not be cashed and keep promising they will put it directly in my bank account - which has not happened.

Complete thief! This person whomever they are Alex may not even be their legal name stole my engagement ring and my gold chain necklace that I sent in to make a deal got mad because of their own miscommunication and taking too long and threatened to cancel my contract and send my stuff back which never happened! Now two months later phone numbers are disconnected and no one answer emails! Do not do business with these people! I am out seven Grand the ring was appraised for 6K and my necklace was at least worth $1,000 this is so heartbreaking because I did not do anything to deserve this.

Alex agreed to buy my 73.1 gram gold necklace for $9000 .
Shipped him my necklace in good faith . When the payment didn't get paid to my account as promised, instead of letting me know that there was an issue with my on line bank wire transfer, He stalled me with lies. Once again, I asked Alex when I can expect payment? He then preceded to call me a "Karen"
I informed him that I am the farthest thing from a Karen & that I'm more the hands on kind of person, more the kind that will kick someone's butt . He then claimed that I was threatened him , not , I was explaining what kind of a person I am. After that he promised a certified check & instead it was a check written on an already closed account. Then he sent me a Certified check for $100 along with a letter saying that he gets great pleasure from the thought of paying me $100 a month until he has paid me my $9000 . More emails back & forth , he promises a new certified check to be sent to me . Again not a certified check, I deposited this check for $8900 into my back & it bounces .
Again he promised a certified check & instead sends me a check hand written ,in the tiniest writing ever & this one was for $8600 , I wasn't going to be hit with more bank fee's, so I took it to a check cashing place & because the writing is so small on it they wouldn't even try to cash it . This all started on Dec 27, 2023 it is now March 3 rd & I still haven't received the money I am owed . I have now filed charges against him & his company for Grand Larceny, check fraud , I am writing reviews on every site I can find , I have filed a complaint with the BBB & I will be notifying the GIA & Any other licensing association that he is accredited by . I'm sure he is going to try to threaten me in regards to my honest opinion & reviews of him & his company. Alex is a thief & a con artist beware he is an unethical, unprofessional KEN !

Every one star review is right on point. Same lies and bogus checks. Than belittles and cusses at his clients.
Amazing customer service and satisfaction. All I asked of Alex was to return my ring and it would be end of story. Then he flips it on you to buy more time. I will be posting all the text exchange to prove the type of scam artist Alex truly is. It’s not about the money at this point but I will be filling a police report and taking legal action against Alex. Of course his story it is in the mail. Stay far way from Alex Hollinger and this scam artist.

Same old song and dance- I am sure it’s in the mail- how many times have I heard that. I am holding my breath. The funny thing is all you had to do was send it back after the numerous times I asked you to after you provided two bogus checks and none of this whould have taken place. I asked you to do the right thing- but you would rather play games-I think maybe I should post your comments to me the customer- to prove who you really are. If the ring is not back in my hands by Feb 20, 2024- legal and law enforcement actions will be taken. Again it was so simple -if you just would have sent it back a month ago it would have been end of the story. If and when I receive the ring- I will remove this post. Have a wonderful day as well!

02/2124- Surprise surprise- no ring in my hand. Please stay away from the scam artist/ fraudster. Do not be fooled by his BS!! Pursuing legal and law enforcement action now.

New updates asked Alex about my ring and not being received and here is his response. “ Bye F “used f word- that cannot post to sight) !!! All I need is the insurance documents and FedEx tracking F’er ( again used f word) !!!!!

You will recant and delete that review if you ever want that ring to be there by Friday schmuck

Once that review is removed !! You will gladly have that fake ring back by Friday and a tracking number to go with it !!

As you can see the excellent customer service that is provided - Alex is con artist and a thief
. Stay far away from Hollinger diamond. I am posting so know one else has to be conned and put up with this situation.

I am surprised by some of these reviews. I had a very smooth experience with Hollinger Diamonds and was happy with the result. I brought in a diamond and enameled brooch and he sold it for me and told me he would not keep a commission in exchange for a review on Trustpilot. I thought that a very fair and equitable exchange of services and I if I ever have anything else to sell I will bring it to them.

"This company cannot be trusted"

This company cannot be trusted. I sent this company my old rings and in return received a check for 3000. That check was held by my bank and I told Alex this and he stated that he would call and get the hold lifted. This did not happen. Instead the check was returned and a fee was processed. When Alex heard about this he stated that he would correct this right away. Alex stated that he would overnight a certified check and that he sent it by UPS. This also did not happen. Alex was extremely rude to me when I asked for a tracking number and then someone on my behalf called asked for the tracking number and he still did not send the tracking number. Alex Hollinger then texted me: "So do you think that your never going to get the money or do you think you should exercise patients and wait for the post office to deliver the envelope addressed to you.Or I would be more than happy to return your item and issue a stop payment on the check ! I can do that also ??". I then stopped texting him due to the rudeness. A few days later a check was received via USPS and it was a similar check to the first one received (not a certified check). I deposited this check due to needing the funds and it was returned as well. I have attempted to reach out to Alex and no response. Legal action will need to be taken.

I wanted to sell a watch but didn't know what to expect. I found Hollinger Diamonds online, spoke to Alex and was initially impressed. I sent them the watch in November 2023. It's now April 2024, and I haven't been paid. I've received several checks but none have panned out. They've promised other payment methods, which haven't panned out either. I requested my watch back and they said it was sent, but I've never received it. Essentially, I've been scammed, and my watch has been stolen. So, I recommend strongly that you stay away from this company.

Andrew. He assisted me with every step along the way with the sell of my wedding rings and a necklace. Andrew was professional, patient with my technology difficulties, and kept in touch with me. I will not hesitate to reach out to Andrew should I need their services in the future.
