Very sorry to hear about your experiences. He has gone back to the UK from what I can gather. He owes thousands upon thousands and will never pay anybody. It is not a case of him just falling on hard times. He took money from people knowing he would never pay it back. Absolute lowlife he is. There are numerous cases pending against him for a variety of things. For example debts, assault. I genuinely hope they catch up to him and he has to answer for what he has done.

Avoid. Ordered 2 cameras in may 2024.€550 gone .
Avoids phone calls.only answers if you ring with a different number.
After nearly 12 months still no cameras or refund .
Will have to do house visits soon 👊🏽.

This company & another trading entity called Click Security are both operated by Jonathan Bell - His place of business was based in Athy, but not sure if he still operates from there!
He had a PSA licence, but my understanding is that this has not been renewed by the PSA when it expired in July!
Bell had arrangements both with HKC ( to provide alarm control services) & Diamond Point ( alarm monitoring services), and he was acting as their agent in collecting annual service fees, from his customers, to pass on to them - however while payments were made to him, it subsequently turned out he passed none of the monies paid to HKC, and only partially paid monies to Diamond Point - This was only discovered when services were discontinued, and when circumstances were brought to the attention of Hkc & Diamond, they agreed to continue to provide their services despite not been paid by Bell for the period that he had been paid for!
For the record both HKC & Diamond no longer deal with Bell, and his licence to operate as a private security installer has been discontinued by the PSA- He is still promoting his services on Facebook notwithstanding all of this unacceptable behaviour!

I got another cctv operator out and had no hassle with it since.

Pure scammer do not let him do your cctv.

If I could give less than one star I would. Word of advice, believe the negative reviews given below because based on my personal experience with CCTV Direct, I would have no doubt that they are all 100% true.

Jonathan Bell owes my pensioner father €193.39, and will not refund the money for an item which he allegedly sent several times but yet we never received. He’s an absolute time waster who will tell you what he thinks you want to hear. I’m not sure if he thought we believed him, but it actually became a running joke in our house regarding what tall tale would be spun next.

Came to fix cameras in June, took the money for the recorder and was allegedly sending it the next day. Allegedly it is the various courier companies not delivering it. This saga went on for pretty much the whole summer. We were not once provided with a tracking number to show the item was sent. I’m sure if it is the courier companies allegedly losing multiple recording boxes insurance would kick in. Therefore a refund to the customer being the decent thing to do.

Pretty low behaviour Jonathan, taking money from a pensioner and not having the common decency to refund it when the recorder never turned up. I have asked for a refund and sent refund requests and all attempts have been ignored and unacknowledged.

Jonathan won’t answer the phone if you ring from your number, won’t answer texts. Has left my father without an operating CCTV system in a rural area where there have been multiple robberies. He is aware of all of this, as I eventually got an answer at one point (had to go private number as he was avoiding my calls).

We were going to go through the small claims court but decided not to bother, the money is insignificant to us, it is the principle of the matter. Clearly Jonathan needs the few quid more than us.

Avoid at all costs, aftercare does not exist and certainly does not have any concern for his customers.

Thanks Robert for the update. Wow, very interesting reading. I feel really sorry for the other people he has allegedly stolen from, what a fantastic role model he is for his little kids.

Jonathan talks a good talk when selling and installing but after care is atrocious. Had a problem with the set up he left and despite emails and texts absolutely no response. Already regretting using these guys. I've waited long enough to post this as I was giving the company some time to reply. More fool me.

Buyer beware if you need follow up service. And it's a given at some point you will. And with something like home or business security the lack of customer service should, pardon the pun, set off alarms.

No follow up. I tried to request a call out as some of the sensors are not working. Promised to call back. Supposed to be under guarantee. Dreadful service.

The two guys that installed the alarm were also friendly and polite & got the job done without any fuss. I would highly recommend this company. I find them very trustworthy and prompt
