As with everything in modern life, prices go up each year. I was pleased to see the renewal of my Comfort insurance policy was less than I’d expected so chose to remain with them for another year. Extra cost of insuring a vehicle is normally due to inflation and the rise in cost of repairs. This in addition to the Insurance Premium Tax, introduced by the EU in 1994 at 2.5% which has now risen to 12%.

Clear information, reasonably priced, with helpful staff on the phone. You can ring them mid policy if you wish, which not all companies allow. I’ve been with them for 8 years, so that says something.
