"Mom of 6"

I have 3 children in the program and all of them have really enjoyed the one-on-one teaching structure that Hoot offers. The teachers are very engaging and it has been a huge blessing over the last year, as the kids have been remote. As a mom of 6, Hoot has given them the time to focus on reading and me the time to focus on other tasks.

My kids LOVE their Hoot lessons and genuinely look forward to them each week. The teachers are all wonderful and have catered the content to each child very well. I also love getting regular progress reports on how they are doing and what we can do with the kids to grow their skills. Truly one of the best tutoring experiences we've had.

My son is loving Hoot Reading. The teachers are so kind, encouraging and engaging, even for my fidgety grade 1. Given all the disruptive learning this year, the 1:1 attention has really helped improve his reading and comprehension skills.

I used HOOT to help my son with his reading. He is in grade 3 and was homeschooling due to the pandemic. I felt like he needed some extra support other than myself and I thought the tutors with HOOT would pique his interest and hold his attention.
He enjoyed it very much, even though he doesn't like to read, it's hard for him as he's learning, but he worked each day with one of the teachers and it was a big help.
This is such a great service, when we cannot be together to have an experienced teacher spend time one on one with my son. We live in a rural area and don't have access to tutoring with out driving a great distance, so I'm sure we will continue to use HOOT Reading even after the pandemic is behind us.

"It takes a village..especially during Covid"

I signed up my 8 year old son in grade 3 during the Covid school closure for some extra practice in reading and I have to say I was extremely pleased with Hoot. This was the much appreciated practice that he was missing out on during the “school day” by wonderful teachers from all over the country. He really enjoyed it and kept us his great reading skills, thanks Hoot Reading!!

"Love HOOT Reading and Math"

HOOT Reading and Math have been a lifesaver for us since the schools closed. My son is 5 and his reading has excelled during this time (he has moved up 3 levels) and his love of Math has grown. All credit goes to the great teachers. The scheduling and organization of the sessions is easy and the team is professional and responsive. We are excited to continue with Hoot into the Fall.

During this busy and unsettled time, HOOT brings much needed structure and calm into our home. My kids (4, 6, 8) look forward to the 1:1 attention with caring teachers and engaging with content they find interesting. For me, I feel reassured knowing my kids are focusing on foundational skills and am thrilled when they each finish their HOOT session confident and happy.

Honestly, one of the best learning programs I've come across. My daughter looks forward to her classes and is stoked to read stories to her little sister. She stays engaged during her sessions and practices reading the words she sees around her. Awesome, awesome, awesome!
