We have been with Hoot since it’s inception and are thrilled with how it has helped our 3 kids advance their reading skills. We love the one on one interaction with amazing teachers, wonderful technological platform and the convenience of doing sessions literally from anywhere. Hoot Reading has been the BEST program I have found for my son during this time of lockdown. He has built a strong relationship with his teacher, looks forward to his daily lesson, and has made tremendous progress with his reading. We will continue well beyond lockdown. He's tried reading over other video platforms, but the Hoot ap is special! The ability for both the teacher and student to touch the book at the same time is magical and makes such a difference. The teachers are thoughtful, kind, and remember him even when he hasn't read with him in awhile. This human touch is what sets Hoot apart. Additionally, any of the employees I have been in touch with about scheduling and our account have been professional, responsive, and eager to make sure things were as easy as possible for our family. Hoot really is AMAZING!

Our son has been a HOOT reader for two years. Just like our son, we've seen the HOOT platform change, evolve and mature into what it is today. We are so proud of HOOT's initiatives to help at-risk readers.
While our son's interest and ability to read has consistently improved, the patience, dedication and kindness from the teachers has been a comforting constant. The company has always been responsive to suggestions, schedule changes and specific needs of our child. This is why we regularly recommend the HOOT experience to all of our friends with developing readers that may need a little extra attention or support from experts specializing in reading strategies. Our son adores his teacher; she knows his strengths and weaknesses, and has learned his interests so she has no trouble choosing books she knows he will enjoy!

My son was a strong reader to begin with, however I felt he wasn't being challenged in school. Hoot reading has really helped develop my son's reading level. He's only in Kindergarten and his classroom teacher is really impressed with his reading skills. We recently also started the math program and within a few sessions, I've already seen a great improvement. I appreciate the flexibility in scheduling and the online teachers are great. They're so patient and adapt their teaching style based on the child. I personally don't have the patience to read or do math with my son, so I appreciate the break, and my son looks forward to his lessons.

We are so thrilled that we found Hoot! Both my kids are quickly advancing in their reading levels since starting Hoot learning. And when they aren’t in a reading session with a teacher they love to go on the app and practice reading with the large virtual library of books available to them! Can’t say enough great things about this app. And it’s so easy to connect with the staff if you have any questions. I highly recommend Hoot!

We love Hootreading! My son is in Junior Kindergarten and has really enjoyed his 20 mins per day with his teacher. The reading session length is perfect, the teachers are upbeat and professional, and bonus...my son can truly read now! "Recommend it for any child of any level - very adaptable."

My two older kids have been using Hoot for over a year and they have improved tremendously.

My oldest, now a 3rd grader, struggled reading and we would fight all the time to get her to read but now she is a very strong reader and actually enjoys reading. Now we fight for her to stop reading and go to bed!!! I was considering stopping the program for her but after sitting and listening to a couple sessions, I realised that the teacher is now focusing on increasing her vocabulary and her knowledge base as they are reading non-fiction books. My daughter continues to impress me with her understanding grasped during her sessions.

My 2nd grader has improved tons as well but is still not excited to read on his own however he enjoys his hoot sessions as the teacher has found what keeps him excited and uses this, she challenges him and keeps score (my son loves competition). For this I am grateful as I know that he will only continue to improve and hopefully once it comes easy to him he will enjoy reading as much as his sister.

I am impressed that the teachers are able to adapt the program to make the 20 mins focused for each of my kids. My 4 year old sits and watches the older 2 and has actually started to show an interest in reading. We have been working with him now and he is way ahead of where my other kids were at his age. This program has been fantastic for our whole family and I would recommend it to any child of any level.
