Order placed on November 23rd, 2024. I never received the shipment, but I did receive a letter from Irish Customs (on December 6th) telling me the order was being destroyed as I had "attempted to avoid duties" I emailed the vendor twice about the order, and received no response. Within the EU, this vendor is shipping dutiable goods without completing the necessary tax clearance arrangements. Deep within their "Terms of Service" on the website, they say the prices of their product are ex VAT, and any duty or customs fee are the responsibility of the customer.

Unfortunately, that isn't how EU Consumer Excise rules work, so shipments get seized at their port of entry and destroyed.
