"Positive experience..."

As regular visitors to the Algarve we have booked through Algarve Vacation multiple times, and have always been well looked after, especially during these covid times. They've always tried to be helpful and have been very clear regarding their cancellation policies, and we've only ever seen them follow the appropriate guidelines. All I can say is that our own experience has always been a positive one

"Can't get damage deposit back - Only 26 Months to get a response!"

Booked a Villa with this company. Holiday and everything went well, but now been home 3 weeks and cant get my damage deposit back. have emailed them 3 times and just been fobbed off. We left the place in immaculate condition with no breakages or damages.
AVOID THIS COMPANY
Wow, you certainly have demonstrated just how much you care about customer service. It has only taken you 26 MONTHS to respond! Very impressive and thank you so much for being such a caring and responsive business.

"First time in the Algarve, we loved it!"

Gorgeous property in beautiful surroundigs near the beach, all our needs were catered for by our welcoming hosts, we will be back!

"Disgustingg"

Disgustingg! Terrible service! Horrible customer experience the staff is extremely rude they have no idea how to deal with clients! They think they are very clever but it's sad for a little extra money they have to fu** people over...Guess theyre not making that much in the first place 😂😂 Never again and do not reccomend

I DO NOT RECOMMEND ALGARVEVACATION.

We booked an expensive villa with them for a week ( on 30 May - 6 June ) but unfortunately our flights got cancelled two days before on 28 May,not because of us but because of the situation with Covid.

The country I chose for holiday was in green list but within a week it change to amber list ,for this reason it is impossible to go there now despite the fact that they give us the opportunity only for June to change dates and go there although for this the Algarve took us more money plus.

We lost a lot with them because they were really unfair and incomrehensible do not give us any other option ,any vauchar or to go another time ,except June ,which for us is impossible.

I am very disappointed with Algarve and Airbnb too ,they only know how to take the money and do not give alternatives or other opportunities fpr their clients.Not everything is in pur hands ,situations change by minutes now ,so they should be more reasonable.

"Do not book holidays with Algarvevacation!"

1. We booked flights and accommodation for one week holiday Portugal 30 May- 6 June.

2. Our flights got cancelled on 28th May and ( due to the covid test 72 hours rule not coming back at the right time , we could not do the booking.

3.We contacted Airbnb and the host ( which the villa is run under Agency Algarve Vacation ltd) the Agency agreed only to amend the booking for June month. During this month the villa was quiet they had no bookings!

4. Due to the agency being very inflexible with the dates we were forced to agree to change the booking for 13th - 20th June and we paid an extra £561. If we did not agree we would lose all the money.

5. June the 4th the Uk government changed Portugal from Green list Country - Amber . I contacted Airbnb on June 4th explaining the new rules and restrictions . A request was sent to the Algarve Vacation on the same day.

Reason for not being able to travel:
a. Portugal under Foreign office advice - essential travel only
b. Job loss for me and my husband if we would travel and take an extra 10 days quarantine. ( Employee did not agree)

6. We gave Algarve Vacations 10 days notice to amend the booking dates. We explained the situation why we are not able to travel.
We were happy to accept a voucher or a different week later in the year. We even sent a request for Easter next year as their calendar had availability. Still they refused to amend the booking.

The ladie that dealt with our booking was Olivia and she was very unhelpful.

We have taken our case to our bank and they are dealing with it. We are hopping justice will be done and we can have our money back.

Also they even charge €/200 to warm swimming pool!

"Avoided with all the cost!"

We had a holiday booked for the May half term,which they where quite willing to take the money.

Our flight's were cancelled by the airline just a day before,and we couldn't book any flight either they were trippled or were not suitable for our days.
The owner of the house were not at all cooperative and understandable of our circumstances and even when we asked for moving our dates for a later time they only gave us 1weeklater and charged us a very considerable amount of money.
Due to the Portugal placed in amber list, it is non negotiable for us to travell anymore.
We took every step and try to negotiate with them to find a reasonable solution but from their part was a disgrace .
We were extremly dissapointed with the response in this occasion and I would avoid staying there in the future.
