"The worst company I’ve ever had to deal…"
The worst company I’ve ever had to deal with! We bought the Minerva worktop, which took 6 weeks to be delivered because it was out of stock (which the website didn’t state when we bought it). Then the delivery company attempted delivery twice without any pre-notice (I doubt it’s custom to show up with something that size and weight without pre-arrangements) and finally delivered the incorrect item. The company takes no responsibility for delivering the wrong item, leaving us out of pocket having been without a kitchen for a month and having to pay builders to be on-site for delivery every time as we live in a 3rd floor flat in London. Would not recommend to anyone!

Very pleased with the quality of the worktops, which arrived very quickly, and in excellent condition. The delivery driver was very friendly and helpful, and helped carry the worktops the garage. Cannot fault the price or the service, and would be happy to recommend this company.

"Very pleased with all aspects"
Very pleased with all aspects of this purchase of worktops for my kitchen. I had to change the delivery date at the last minute as my joiner was delayed and this was handled efficiently and without any fuss by Solid Surfaces customer services. When the worktops were delivered (2 x 4m lengths) I was very worried about how I was going to get them in my small house, but the driver was very helpful and couldn't have been nicer and more reassuring.
I would not hesitate to recommend them based on my experience.

"Avoid this company!"
Avoid this company. Their customer service is terrible. They ignore e-mails and calls, blame customers for issues with the products they sell and are often rude and unhelpful (especially Dillon). For example, when agreeing on a specific action, they did almost the opposite. I spent £1,400 with them and I still don't have what I paid for. They passed me off to the company that they buy the worktops from (Deralam). However, they also keep promising to resolve the issue and don't follow through. In short, avoid this company at all costs.

"Poor customer service"
Poor customer service.
Solid service worktops arrived damaged, stained and chipped. Due to circumstances out of our control we’re unable to check the delivery before the 7 day period. On unwrapping the and removing the tape corners were damaged and chipped, called to advise of what to do and told that it was now our problem as it had passed the 7 days.
Also ordered additional ends for the worktops on advice from solid surface kitchens and now stuck with £100’s of product that arent fit for purpose or surplus.
In addition, first use of the worktops we managed to fit “ APOLLO MAGNA SOLID SURFACES FROST“ stained and took hours to polish and buff out.
Poor experience all round.

Lovely copper fleck work surface, better than expected. Had issues with corner ends contacted the company who were easy to correspond with, very fair and sent refund and replacement. I would recommend and very happy with results. Thank you

"Very disappointed with after-sales"
Very disappointed with after sales service. Our worktop was delivered at the start of lockdown and as our kitchen fitter was not able to come we left it in the garage out of the way. Today, kitchen fitter arrives to install, unpacks and finds worktop poorly cut and damaged in several places. Spoke to 'customer services' who said they weren't interested as more than 7 days has passed since delivery and then accused me of damaging the worktop deliberately though I'm not sure why I would do that. I appreciate their usual t's&c's don't allow for this but would have thought a common sense approach could be applied given recent circumstances. Such a shame, as a good price (though I guess you get what you pay for) and had planned to order more items. Will go elsewhere now.
