"Bad product, poor customer service"

My x7 scooter quit working after owning for just over 6 months. I did not have a lot of use on the scooter but it just stop accelerating and there was grinding. I emailed the company and after a week of emailing pictures and videos they said it’s the controller and the warranty expired. I ordered a new controller and there are only 2 options based on the battery connection (oval and not round). I ordered the not round and they charged $15 for shipping. After a few weeks and numerous follow ups it arrived. I installed the controller and realized it was not new and it was wired backwards. I called and they blamed me for ordering the wrong part. I explained there were 2 options and I ordered the correct plug. After another couple days of emails they admitted there were different versions. They ordered one again and it’s been over a month and they’re full of excuse why it still hasn’t arrived. I also find it very suspicious that they only use “Ashley” for every email and every time I’ve called it’s been Romario on the phone. Do not purchase anything from this company!
FOLLOW UP! I am now 49 emails deep and 3 months later and still can’t get the correct part. Instead of shipping the correct controller they sent a new dashboard. This doesn’t solve the incorrect wiring on the controller. They acknowledged again it was not correct and now they want to send 2 cables to try and fix the incorrect controller. They are having me dismantle the entire scooter with make shift parts instead of sending me the correct part.

"There customer service sucks and takes…"

There customer service sucks and takes forever to get replacement parts. Do not recommend them as they seem to not care about their customers… especially first time customers

"Absolutely terrible customer service."

I ordered a bike from TurboAnt and it was late a month by FedEx, however not their fault though. When it finally arrived it was damaged and missing parts including the battery charger, it's been 3 months later and I still don't have the part. After numerous emails and phone calls i was told that they would sent my parts out, however 2 months later still no parts. I've written them again this week again with no response at all. I would definitely not recommend purchasing anything from this company, they don't care about their customers and they have the worst customer service I've ever seen in my life. I paid for my bike 3 months ago and it sits in the garage with a dead battery, absolutely useless to me.

"Should come with a rack"

I think the bike should come with a rack or basket and customers should not pay extra for it. Or there can be an option to get one. Also I do think it’s a little expensive without the discount. That’s my only issues. Everything else is just fine. Cant wait to go places. Now running errands for wife gets fun.

"TurboAnt Thunder T1 Fat Tire Electric Bike...Phenomenal"

I recently had the chance to review the TurboAnt Thunder T1 Fat Tire electric bike for the-gadgeteer.com. The one word I used to sum up my experience was, Phenomenal. The bike arrived in a large box 90% assembled and came with all the necessary tools to quickly and easily finish assembly. It is very well constructed and has tons of great features. You can ride the T1 in three different ways. You can pedal it like a normal bike, use the 5-speed pedal assist, or via throttle on demand. The bike has a top speed of 28mph and the battery has a max range of up to 60 miles. Other features include front and rear disk brakes, LCD display, hydraulic front fork, and leather wrapped handles. Needless to say I love my Thunder T1 and would highly recommend it to anyone considering purchasing an electric bike. You can read my full review on the-gadgeteer.com

"Affordable commuting"

I've had the X7 when it was first introduced to the market and enjoyed it a lot. Since then, I've gotten my hands on the X7 Pro which is a solid entry-level electric scooter and a better alternative for me than public transport. Support has been excellent and I've had very few technical problems with my unit. It's not as fast as some of the premium scooters out there but at the price point you can't go wrong.

"Disappointed"

I was so excited about this scooter until a valve jammed into inner tire after a week of having it, so the tire can't be inflated. I've been trying to get a replacement inner tire sent for a month and have been emailing and calling customer support. I'm a very patient person but things are moving so slowly!

Update: the part arrived after a month of back and forth with customer service. They asked me to remove this review, but I think other prospective customers should be aware of the inefficiencies they might face if they have to deal with customer service.

"good"

The e-scooter is good. I live in a place where the roads are largely flat paved roads, so the ride remains smooth largely, and I noticed that the inflated tires are good on bumpy places, not ups and downs that kind of bumpy, general kind of bumpy with small stones. The braking is quite responsive, it came in with a very tightly set braking cable, I adjusted it myself it brakes comfortably now.

"This is a 0 star review for a 0 support company"

***Update- after almost 3 weeks since I received the scooter and after spending 40 minutes on an intercontinental call at my own expenses, I was told that they had contacted the only bike shop they found (in another city) to ask them if they could change the break cable for me and they'll let me know as soon as the shop replied (I was told the email was sent while I was holding the line).
Well when I sent a follow up email after a week they asked me to contact the shop first. So basically this customer support sends bot automated replies to your emails (always the same ones no matter what you reply) and the only nice person that tries to help (Romario at the phone customer service)is just ignored so I am left with having to contact the Better Business Bearou.
So please stop reading this review or any other and just spare yourselves this nightmare. Buy from a real company with a real customer support that cares for customers safety.

Have to give one star since there's no option to give zero. This might be long but PLEASE read it if you are considering buying from them.
I read few reviews that say the products is OK but customer service is non existing and warned that if you buy the product you'd better pray you
won't have to deal with them. Well I wish I listened to them and stayed away from this company. Please keep in mind they work non EU time so for me this means Customer Support is one email per day (in the middle of the night so by the time I reply in the morning they are not in work for that day).

I received my brand new scooter with the brake cable damaged, sharply bent (almost snapped in half) and with the wrapping material damaged (open leaving the wire exposed), I emailed them with pictures and they suggested to replace it but their engineer warn that it could be treaky so they advise to bring it to the local repair shop to replace it (like anyone has the same cable or a compatible one or would take the responsibility) or to tape it. TAPE IT like is a toy.
I explained to them I don't have a local repair shop (for my previous one to change a tire I had to go all the way to Dublin to a freelancer's house because no shop would work on a product that is not their own) and since I use the scooter for daily commute I don't feel safe taping it and I won't compromise on my safety.
They replied back saying that if they were to "help me" send it to their engineer to work on it it would take a really long time and I won't be able to enjoy my scooter for very long. This is ridiculous, they are literally scaring and encouraging customers to not be safe and honesty if I didn't work in an ED and didn't have have alternative affordable way to get to work I'd be tempted. I did advise them to replace it if it is so time consuming considering this is a faulty product and not my fault. Ofc they didn't consider that option.
They never answered my concerns regarding safety assessment and warranty (I presume I'd lose it if myself or someone else was to meddle with the scooter).
Moreover they are ignoring my answers and keep replying to my emails giving the same advise, either "tape it" or bring it to the local (not existing) repair shop. I know different people are answering my emails but I'd appreciate if they could read them first rather than waste my time sending the same reply. I received the scooter a week ago today and we still haven't solved the issue nor we are any closer.
Wish I got a Xiaomi like everyone else around me or anything through Amazon (a reliable company with a real customer service). Please be wiser than me!
