"I didn’t think there was a problem until I installed this and realised how much better it could be. "
I purchased a semi air suspension kit to raise the back of my motorhome so that the levelling legs can be lowered to the vertical without hitting the ground. I required 25mm of lift. I have installed the kit and get 70mm lift. Which exceeds my expectations. It’s very quick to raise or lower. The bags/bellows are easy to fit 1 hour per side. It’s the cab switches, tank and compressor which took the time. I Welded up a bracket to mount the compressor and tank underneath.
Although I didn’t purchase this kit for the ride quality upgrade. I am impressed as it greatly reduces roll around corners and roundabouts. Also superior ride comfort. I didn’t think there was a problem until I installed this and realised how much better it could be.

"Unpaid CCJ"
I am still waiting for payment of the the county court judgement 425MC288 made against the proprietor and his company for the non supply of my airbags which he sold to another customer while my parts were at his premises in 2023. Beware you will not be able to pay by credit card so will have to rely on the courts for protection if anything goes wrong. In my case this has not worked so far.

"Contacted airride for a price for new…"
Contacted airride for a price for new front struts as one is leaking, Kristine suggested I try a new set if O rings first which I ordered from stock. These have cured the problem For only £15 rather than £800 for the struts. Also followed up the order With a useful fitting guide pdf. Great service all round

"Service above and beyond"
Contacted AirRide for advice as to approach fixing the faulty air suspension on what was a VW Caddy formerly converted for wheelchair compatibility I.e. pneumatic ramp and rear air suspension to lower the back for the ramp entry.
They went above and beyond, asking for, and reviewing photographs to analyze potential solutions that would also align with different budgets and such.
One doesn’t experience this type of brilliant service and assistance very often and this level of care gives great confidence to customers trying to arrive at solutions in the quite technical world air suspension. Big thanks!

"My Soggy Motorhome"
My motorhome, a Swift Sundance 600s dating from 2004, had rear suspension leaf springs that were actually inverted - that is to say bent downwards at each end. This was no doubt due to 18 years of continuous load. Leaf springs are supposed to go on holiday occasionally, having the load removed so that they recover their shape. The consequence of having sagging leaf springs like this is excessive roll on cornering and a back end that occasionally impacts on the road when going over a rough piece of road, like a railway crossing, for example. Not to mention a continuous rough ride shaking the back, rattling the pots and pans and even your teeth filling at times. So Air Ride seemed to be the answer. Take out the bump stops and bolt them in. Would it be that simple? Would it cure the problems?
Yes, and yes. Removing the bump stops was, surprisingly, dead simple. They were not at all rusty and unscrewed easily. I took off the back wheels to get access, which is much better than rolling about on the ground underneath. Then pop in the bellows, secure them, put the wheel back on and Robert is your father's brother. All that remains to be done is the compressed air pipework. I had opted not to have fancy on board pump, gauges and electrical wiring, just two Schrader valves on a bracket which I positioned out of the way in the gas compartment.
To start with I put in 80psi which was too much. The back end was kicked up maybe 3" higher than before and it looked ridiculous! Eventually I dropped it down to 30 psi and it looked right. I've now driven the vehicle about 1000 miles since fitting (which is why this revue is so late) and I am delighted with the improvement. The leaf springs are smiling too! Body roll is almost eliminated, the ride is smoother and quieter and no more risk of grounding going over rough roads and tracks.
This is a fantastic product, I couldn't be more pleased with it. Five stars Air Ride, you deserve them.
