I was very nervous when I started the process with Robert P. He was very patient with me, and answered my same questions over and over. Everything he said he would take care of with the loan,and the amounts were exactly what we talked about. Everything came out great, easy process. Thank you Robert!

"Do not use this lender"

The processor was rude and condescending. She asked our gift donor if lending us the money would leave them destitute. When I asked why she reached out to them she said she was required to put couldn't provide the FHA guideline for the phone call. We had already provided the NMB gift letter from our donors, a copy of the check and copies of the withdraw and deposit slips for the gift. The entire process was painful and the mortgage company did not help, guide, explain or respond timely. We were asked to submit the same documents multiple times. We were provided a portal to upload documents that the processor didn't have access to so I had to send personal, banking, and financial documents via email. Multiple NMB employees were listed on the emails so my documentation was being sent to all of them with no clear indication of who they were and if I should be working with them or the original processor. NMB did not seem to be versed with individuals who worked as contractors/consultants. They insisted on items I didn't have (CPA letter, invoices, bills). Every time our paperwork was submitted to underwriting (3-5 times), it was a 5-7 day wait for a response. Our closing date was Friday and we did not receive final approval until Wednesday evening at 9pm. My realtor had to use different phone numbers to try and reach the broker and processor because they stopped answering calls from her cell phone. A busy housing marked is not an excuse for poor customer service.
