"Great Tour of Egypt"
In 2009 my friend and I went to Egypt and visited Luxor. We had a great tour over two days with Oriris Tours. Not only did we see the main sites but visited some off the beaten path places. We experienced the true Egypt in both culture, history, and food with Oriris. It was a great experience and highly recommend their services and expertise.

"Wonderful experience"
If you are looking for a wonderful travel experience, Osiris Tours is the company. From the very start to the finish we were taken care of by the most helpful and experienced guide one could ask for. Everyone made our trip to Morocco and Egypt great and stress free. They worked with our schedule and listened to what we want to do then they customized such an amazing itinerary for our trip. Every thing was customized just for us and more personal. We will travel with Osiris Tours again and we are happy to recommend them to our friends and family.

"Egypt guide"
Our guide Mahmoud was so informative, pleasant and patient with us.. He showed us remarkable off the usual tourist routes. Knew the right times and days to avoid the crowds. The price was fair too. I'd suggest you try his company. Pleased!

"Wonderful trip to Egypt"
Mahmoud was our tour guide when my sister and I traveled to Egypt with my parents. He did a superb job planning our tours to all of the incredible sites in Luxor. Mahmoud was very knowledgeable, personable, trustworthy, kind hearted, and had a great sense of humor. We had a marvelous trip, thanks to Mahmoud, and we still regard the trip as one of our favorites.

"Old and Young Travelers in Egypt"
Grandfather (age 75) and granddaughter (age 14) had a special trip to Egypt - the young Miss says it was her best trip ever, and she has been on every continent except Antarctica. We started with two days in Cairo - where the pyramids are. Thoroughly enjoyable, even to someone like me who has seen a lot at my age. Nice hotel and nice food also, Then a 4 night trip starting in Luxor (flying from Cairo) and traveling south to Aswan on the Nile River in a ship. Very comfortable, with morning spent touring with Mahmoud and a driver, then back to the ship for lunch and in the afternoon cruising to the next destination. The sights, such as the Valley of the Kings, are impressive and even King Tut's mummy in the underground chamber is fascinating to see (also the exhibits found in this tomb shown in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo), The scenery on this cruise is interesting as you see a mix of the desert and extensive agriculture along the Nile plus visiting numerous temples and monuments adds much to the experience. The food on the ship was consistently good, including lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. The teen-ager ate heartily. We left the ship at Aswan, toured in that area, and then flew back to Cairo for a last day of seeing parts of Cairo, especially several religious temples plus the Egyptian Museum. Also to note are the multiple market displays of fresh fruits and vegetables in the April period when we were there: strawberries, artichokes, oranges and other citric fruits, green vegetables, etc. No complaints about the variety and freshness of the food served at meals. Even wine is available. My granddaughter also got to ride a horse and a camel, got to hold lion cub and a 3 foot long crocodile! I did ride a camel myself. I cannot think of a thing to complain about - except we should have stayed more days but this was a Spring Break vacation for my granddaughter so the time was limited. Reflecting on the trip you do "pack in" a lot impressive sights and experiences into one week of days and nights. The trip to Cairo, from Philadelphia, was easy with a layover in Paris for us. We were met in Cairo and checked through customs quickly. Also assisted again on leaving Cairo. No complications! I am an economist and I was interested in how their economy "works", so my personal focus was also on how the Egyptian economy differs from the U.S. economy. My granddaughter seemed to find everything interesting and even found some nice presents for herself! The traveling was not difficult for me, though I have a mild balance problem when walking. A great trip. I would recommend this type of trip and Mahmoud's services to anyone.

"My best travel experience ever!"
My wife and I agree our trip to Egypt has been the best travel experience ever. Chief among the reasons for this trip being so special was the guide service provided by Mahmoud. His knowledge and insight at every stop we made was incredible. He is nothing short of a walking talking encyclopedia (remember what they are?) of Egyptian history and antiquities. Mahmoud has a delightful personality and is a great deal of fun to be with even when not seeing and discussing the sights. Mahmoud was also very instrumental in assisting us with a number of purchases we made. Were it not for Mahmoud's intervention with vendors we would have paid many times more than we did. In short, Mahmoud really made our trip to Egypt what it was. Our best trip ever!!

"Luxor to Aswan with Mahmoud"
Mahmoud was our private guide from Luxor to Aswan. My friend and I travelled by boat up the Nile and Mahmoud met us at each port with a private car and driver, and guided us through our day trips to some of Egypt's most important ruins. Mahmoud is extremely knowledgeable about ancient Egyptian history. He speaks English very well and he made sure that we saw all of the sites without feeling rushed or unsafe. In Aswan, after we had left our cruise, Mahmoud took us to have dinner one night in a bustling local restaurant. It was a great experience - he introduced us to the owner and we tasted delicious local food that we would not have had otherwise.
Before we left Canada, we admittedly had some uneasiness about the political situation in Egypt. But once there, and particularly during the time we spent with Mahmoud, we never felt threatened or in danger and, indeed, we came away with the impression that Egyptians are just like most people in the world - caring and kind.

"Wonderful Egypt with an expert guide, trip of a lifetime!"
Mahmoud, our guide for much of our Egyptian tour was great. He was schooled in the history of each site we visited but also brought a personal note to each story. We were traveling with three teenagers and his connection to them kept them attentive and has resulted in lifetime memories and many stories to tell. He was prompt, courteous and "felt" like one of the family.
I would highly recommend Osiris Tours for your next wow vacation!!
Thank you Mahmoud!

"The best!"
My girlfriend and I took a Nile cruise and tour with Mahmoud as a guide in 2012. His knowledge of and passion for Egyptian history was unparalleled, but it's really his personality that makes him stand out. He's so incredibly friendly and warm; you can't help but enjoying spending time with him. We've kept in touch since the trip and would love to travel with him again. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mahmoud to anyone. If you have an opportunity to travel with him, do it. You will not regret it.
