I had the pleasure to take a tour of Egypt with friends led by Mahmoud Gebril. We were a small group with some physical limitations and specific requests. We had done our homework before the trip and wanted to explore some specific sites. Mahmoud made it all happen with logistics that worked for us and outstanding accommodations. Everything went smoothly thanks to his organization. His knowledge of Egyptian history, culture, and architecture was outstanding. He constantly kept our interest and could answer all of our questions. And to top it all off his friendliness and warmth made this trip wonderful. I would not hesitate to recommend his tours.

My sister and I booked a private guided tour to Egypt in 2008. Our trip included a cruise of several days on the Nile with regular stops in several archaeological sites. Mahmoud was the guide who accompanied us during the cruise. He was highly professional and very knowledgeable. He was capable of explaining the history of ancient Egyptian sites in a detailed and passionate way and was able to tailor his description according to our interests. He was also very warm (basically felt like a family member), always in a good mood, and willing to go out of his way to help and make us feel comfortable.
I highly recommend Mahmoud because he is one of those persons who work out of passion and who therefore strives to deliver the best possible result and make his customers very happy. We will definitely get in touch with him again when the time comes for us to go on another middle eastern trip.

My husband and I were in Egypt about 8 years ago and Mahmoud was our tour guide. We were with him for about 7 days and went all over Egypt together. He did an outstanding job! We travelled to Egypt as a family of three and it was absolutely the trip of a life time. Excellent trip, we had the trip of our life. All of our private tour guides were professional and top quality. We were able to see many sights due to their knowledge of the train system and they also taught us how to get around on our own. The guides also recommended places to see on our own time and all worth while. In addition they taught us local customs and foods that we needed to try in that region. Very helpful. Great tour for those who want guides but also some free time on our own. The guides were always on time, the transportation on time and everyone was so nice and helpful in Istanbul, Cappadocia, or Izmir. We also appreciated not having to be in a large group of strangers and the one on one quality of the tour. Before we leave, we were not sure what to expect but the trip met all expectations and then some. Will use Osiris Tours in the future and of course will recommend to our friends.
