"High end furniture Scam. Stay Away!"

An astonishing rip off shop. The contemptuous owner Adam Brown has devised a way of selling pseudo-wood at high end furniture prices. He claims it's lovingly hand crafted but its clearly off a conveyor belt with all the flaws of mechanised manufacter you'd expect. No unit quality assessement is made as that lowers profit. A standard singular order is considered 'bespoke' and takes over two months! This is so they can bunch up production of the same items to again maximise profit.
It then arrives with botched, flaking paint finish, chips and cracking like a kid crafted it- no human hand nor eye has gone anywhere near their units, if they had they'd be embarrassed at their handy work and would start again.
They proudly declare they are better than John Lewis hence the overprice. John Lewis has its problems but it's 25% cheaper and they cannot hide when they mess up.
They have blagged their market positioning. Do not be foolded. Stay well clear.

"POOR QUALITY, POOR DELIVERY, JUST PLAIN CHEAP FURNITURE"

I ordered the Millbrook Small Wardrobe which arrived with what is described as transport bars by the Painted Furniture Company (They screw pieces of wood into the pine plinth for transport) These screws completely shattered the plinth at the base of the wardrobe.

Trying to get any compensation out of this company was like beating your head on a brick wall. I received some paint!!!

Furniture is a total waste of money even if it had arrived intact. Just awful quality. The actual furniture is VERY cheap pine. The draws stick constantly. The paint finish is poor with knots showing through the paint.

I am left with a piece of cheap tacky pine furniture that has been poorly made, poorly painted that cost me more than £1,000 and have no recall on the company as it was paid upfront and made to order.

I cannot recommend this company enough. It has been a joy to buy from them right from the offset of the telephone inquiry to delivery.We bought our bedroom furniture first, obviously because of the virus we made an appointment to visit the store along with our dogs which they had no problem with. The sales staff were attentive but not intrusive and we had their undivided attention too. That delivery arrived safely and the delivery guys were so kind and willing to please. So today we took delivery of our superb dining room furniture. Wonderful that's all I can say. Superb quality, staff and service. So much so I'm wondering what else I need !!
