I initially filed for my brand trademark on my own, it was rejected by the USPTO office for a few reasons, existing brand name that could possibly cause confusion, needing to define and exclude ownership rights to certain commonly used words such as Pride and Beauty. I was approached by a dozen law firms all of them quoting me a ridiculous amount of money while not being able to guarantee my application would go through. Some lawyers I spoke with actually advised that I abandon the brand name all together. I was contacted by Boris from Legalhoop. There prices seem too good to be true as well as knowledgeable individuals. I chose Legalhoop over many other firms and I am so glad I did. As a small business owner, it can get extremely busy - everything on my end was done last minute (I don’t recommended) but Boris and his team filed the corrections for my trademark application on my behalf and my Trademark is soon to be published.
