"Can't listen on the phone"

Can't listen on the phone, cost me money and more concerned about upselling me key insurance than actually writing down the car's modifications.

I took out insurance, they asked for an 'Engine Number' for a swapped engine upgrade to which I struggled to locate so called them, they then told me my insurance doesn't cover a swapped engine and they then reviewed the initial phone call to which I did list the engine swap so they admitted it was their fault. They refunded the policy for me, minus the time I'd had the policy, so they charged me for their own mistake which I think is an appalling approach. Their admin panel is awful, doesn't load forms and documents correctly and nobody could even answer the question as to whether an Engine Number was even required (given that it was an optional field). It was also ridiculous to spend an HOUR on the initial phone call to then have to write down ALL the modifications AGAIN - what really is the point in that? Just wasting my time repeating myself. People are busy and this stuff is mundane yet simple - and they get it all wrong. Moving to another insurer is the way to go who actually listen to basic instructions.
