"Helpful, Trustful, Professionalism "

Recently I’ve rented a Studio Flat through JCF Property Management.
Let me tell you that, their properties are super clean and cosy, well maintained.

I contacted with Helen Warneryd and Douglas Olizar who super professional and helpful about everything I asked for.
Very fast response and deal with any issues straight forward without any problem.
I had some experience with other companies but so far they are the best.
Amazing people.

"Debbie Ranger amazing work!"

Debbie Ranger is our senior property manager and she has helped us through the complicated process of obtaining all necessary documents required for selling our property.
She was always there for us providing us with her exceptional professional expertise.
She was responding on our emails even when she was super busy or on her annual leave.
I don’t have enough words in my vocabulary to express how much I appreciate Debbie’s incredible professionalism, expertise and empathy.
These qualities are incredibly precious and very rare nowadays and I feel happy that we had an opportunity to have Debbie as out property manager!

"JCF Property Management a very professional company."

JCF Property have been looking after my Property for many years. I recently went with members of my family to inspect it, I am so impressed as to the condition of my Property, and I believe this to be down recently to Helen Warneryd the Property Manager looking after my Property. Helen is always so efficient and professional, combined with a cheery attitude. Nothing is too much trouble, and her advice I find very helpful.

"Exorbitant fees, terrible service!"

Our building management recently transitioned to this company, and our experience thus far has been quite terrible. Despite charging a substantial fee for their services, this company has proven to be severely lacking in its problem-solving capabilities. Approximately five months ago, we reported a leakage issue from the flat, and regrettably, it remains unresolved to this day. In my efforts to seek updates on the matter, I've had to reach out to them via email and phone no less than ten times. It is disconcerting that without my proactive follow-ups, it appears that no progress is made in addressing reported issues. This situation raises questions about the purpose of paying a building management fee if I must continually initiate contact to check on the status of reported problems. Ideally, they should take a proactive stance in problem resolution and keep residents informed of progress.

Another issue pertains to the initial invoice issued by this company. We were instructed by JCF to settle a balance transferred from the previous management company. However, our records indicate that no outstanding balance should exist. I brought this matter to their attention, and they assured me that they would contact the previous agent for clarification. Despite my waiting for over a month, I still have not received the promised clarification and during that period they added two late payment charges on my account! In the end, I had to make a payment without understanding the basis for the charge, and also pay late payment fees on top of that! I think this is a really appalling way to treat customers, JCF was aware that I was awaiting clarification on the balance, the imposition of two late payment fees seems unjust and unwarranted.

Lastly, due to the inadequate service I received from this company I had to make multiple complaints which went unanswered until I emailed the company directors. Even then, the response I received was thoroughly unsatisfactory. I am genuinely astonished by the unprofessionalism and incompetence displayed by this company, as they have created so much stress and hassle for me.

"Used to be brilliant. Now only one star"

Back in 2020 it was a different story. At that time I wrote a review and I said: We’ve had our flat in this block for over 23 years. In that time we’ve seen several managing agents come and go. Generally the thing they had in common was low attention span, and too little time which lead to poor and reactive service. JCF came highly recommended and their appointment several years ago has been game changing. They undertook a detailed survey and came up with a 10 year plan to eradicate the issues that had arisen through the previous neglect. This was all costed carefully and the options in terms of timing agreed with the lessees. They have worked systematically through through this

Today, the block is in good shape and there should be no more surprises. They’ve done an outstanding job for all of us. Their patience is matched by their professionalism knowledge and experience. Residential management is not easy and if you end up with the wrong firm it can be a disaster. We were fortunate that they were recommended by our neighbouring block.That was my review in 2020.

Update September 2023. Sadly I have changed my review from 5 stars to one star. What a difference in 3+ years. I would not recommend this firm now. We are on second change of manager in a little over a year. Service levels are very disappointing. Minutes of meetings that they are paid to prepare are a disjointed jumble of incomplete sentences that are useless and we have to re-write. Don’t know if they don’t read what they have written or worse, have done so and think they are an accurate record. The directors are continually having to push to get progress.Emails often remain unanswered until prompted. What a shame. Don’t know what has happened behind the scenes but if it wasn’t for inertia of changing I think we would have changed firms by now. I suspect the people are good but it feels like an organisation that is perhaps chronically understaffed and there isn’t enough time to properly service the clients they have. Avoid. Hopefully they will get their mojo back
