"Treacherous muddy section"

Done this race on many occasions and that was by far the worst weather I have experienced. Despite that everyone remained friendly and encouraging and it was a really enjoyable event.
One point though regarding the grassy / muddy section of the run. Given most of us were wearing normal running shoes the section close to the start / finish felt quite dangerous particularly with runners going in different directions in a confined space. Wonder whether the course could have been altered to avoid this section entirely or alternatively so you only went through this section at the start and then again at the end?

My first open sprint having done a super sprint last year at Nantwich. Even though the weather was bad the organisation and especially the marshalls were fantastic and made the whole event very special.

they could have marked out the running track a bit better as I nearly got lost on the way in but overall ... Fantastic!

Well organised, super friendly! The lump at the start of the run should be better thought out, as it was a real hazard. Other than that very happy!

As ever a well organised event for everyone from beginners to experienced. Caught out by the appalling weather conditions this year but still the Marshalls managed a smile and gave encouragement to everyone.

"Our first Triathlon Relay and we LOVED it!"

Granted this was our first Triathlon Relay event, so our experience is very limited. However, we felt that the Stratford Triathlon was very well organised. We were kept updated via emails as the event approached, and thought the day went smoothly. Every member of the staff at the event was very kind, helpful and encouraging. Everything was explained very clearly at briefing, and the registration process was smooth and reassuring. The facilities were fit for purpose and the cycle and running routes were well marked. We had a great day. Sincere thanks to everyone involved.

Really enjoyed the Stratford Tri. I liked the layout of the swim, the bike ride was fairly flat, well sign posted with nice marshalls, great downhill run at one point. The run was a little muddy at the start and end, but overall a good race.

This was my first ever event and I was very impressed at how well organised everything was. It was particularly useful to attend the short masterclass presentation the day before to ensure that I didnt make any simple errors on the day.
