when I first got the camera, the charging lights were faulty. The charging light would go off after a few seconds so I didnt know whether the camera was charging. I sent back to roadhawk who said it was fine and it must be my fault!
This camera is a piece of garbage and could never recommend it or the poor customer service.

"I purchased a roadhawk hd vision"
I purchased a roadhawk hd vision, to be honest I'm not impressed, I had it mounted in the front for about 4 days, then I replaced it with another top brand dash cam.
The wifi I thought would be a good idea, But it takes agaes sometimes to connect, restarting the app because it will not connect 1st time all the time, sometimes it has taken me 5 mins just to get a connection to my Samsung s7.
The next problem I have with it, is a deal breaker for me.
I think the prob lies with a engine start push button, when I press it, it turns off the camara, not all of the time depending if I press the start engine button straight away from when I turn on the ignition.
So I drive some were, turn the engine off, and then restart the engine, it will turn off the camara. It could be the car takes all the juice out of the electric circuit when it starts, but my new one does not suffer with this, because that has a battery built in.
So my advise is, buy something Ells if you have a honda civic mrk 8
The video it takes is good. I still use this cam, But as a rear camara only.

I am extremely disappointed that you have entered into a deal with Volvo where you are the preferred accessory for a dash cam and you have not made sure they are fitting the correct equipment for the correct car.
I purchased a New V40 Countryman with an electric front screen and they did not fit a booster.
After a few months I realised after having to view a near miss I realised the GPS was not working correctly.
I have now purchased the booster Volvo have fitted it free of charge but you have a serious Duty of Care to ensure they know they have to fit a booster,
You have let me down, Volvo and yourselves. Very poor
