The sale of my property was a daunting and emotional thing for me to do .
I could not have been in better hands than John Hamilton and His team Lynda and Saba. From day one they were efficient, on the ball and most of all human and kind. They went above and beyond.
I cant thank them enough. The sale has enabled me a fresh start so they really have made a difference to my life .
A lot of people, like me who need a fresh start will need a wonderful team to treat them humanely , Be patient with the anxiety's and show empathy .. they treated me as a friend not just a client . A special thank you to the amazing Saba for her kindness

"Conveyancing experience"

Just wanted to convey excellent service where it is due. I have used John and Lynda for many years on my residential property conveyancing and the service has always been excellent. They are a good team - always busy which tells the story for existing and potential clients. There is a balance to strike in that if you require instantaneous responses, you need personnel with time on their hands. If they have time on their hands, why is this?? Anyone good is generally busy. This is the way of the world. On balance, I would always recommend John and Lynda. Keep up the good work....

"Toxic management"

Edit: He is deleting my Google review but this is the truth it is factual and I have evidence to support.

I would like to begin by stating this review is not for the work and services provided by the firm but what it was like working for Idris Mir and HIS behaviour, language and nasty nature.

Bad management, toxic workplace culture. He lacks basic human respect. He has children of similar age. Would you ever use filthy disgusting degrading language about other members of staff in front of them. Confidentially does not exist with him. He will spread your personal business to everyone. If you have family problems, relationship issues, workplace affairs, need time off etc he will tell the entire office. Can’t be trusted. Values and favours his workplace friendships and will excuse their bullying towards other members of staff, despite being told how it’s creating a divide in the office. All very nice people in John’s department as well as a few others that don’t deserve the way they get spoken to and spoken about but are too scared to speak up that’s why they went through me and I told him but nothing was done.

If you go to him for help (because he hasn’t provided you with any training at all) he will shout back in your face expecting you to know it all and if you don’t know it, to go find out. “Self learn” is what he says. He is not an approachable person. Will just throw instructions at you and you’re expected to figure it out despite never having any prior experience.

Will speak and swear in his mother tongue about you so those who don’t speak that language don’t understand. To these same people he won’t use your name when talking about you to other staff, he will either refer to you as your weight, your age or an offensive derogatory term in a sexual context. It’s just bullying. He does not follow the ‘discrimination, equality’ etc policies set out in the office manual.

If you want your money to go towards a disrespectful, rude, ill mannered, toxic bully then definitely use MIR Solicitors. If you value the way most staff (who are not his friends outside of work as well) are being treated and spoken to/about, then avoid. It’s a reflection of his character.

"The best in the business!"

We used MIRs for the sale and purchase of a property. Martin was our Conveyancer and I cannot put into words how brilliant he was. He is so fantastic at what he does. The communication was outstanding from day one and we were ready to complete very quickly. Nothing was ever too much trouble for Martin and his colleagues, they always have their customers best interests at heart. On the day of completion everything went very smoothly and was so stress free. I would also like to extend my thanks and appreciation to Stephanie and Mehnaz for all of their hard work. What a great team they are. If you need any conveyancing, make sure you use MIRS/Martin Lamb.

I would provide 0 experience if possible. This company cost me and my wife over 4500 pounds.i instructed them to deal in buying land in Huddersfield. Got confirmation from seller that if sale didn't go through would pay costs back. 3 years later find out mir solicitors sent sale contact back, never informed me or my wife. Liers, I would avoid like plague, ask around about them no honestly. Any decent firm would have pursued our costs. MIR answer get solicitors to sort it out. What a joke of a firm.
