"Poor service"

I paid £789 for a ticket which was quickly sold. However, adequate information wasn't provided to
highlight travel requirements under Covid restrictions.
I was not allowed to board my flight because I had not paid for a Covid test in the country I was travelling to.
Now, travel agent and airline are passing the buck on who I should speak to for a refund and how much.
In hindsight, one is better of buying travel tickets directly from the airline.

Roger was polite, professional and knowledgeable.
I was very impressed with the service I received and will definitely be booking with Aerial Routes again in the future.
If more customer service representatives were as helpful as Roger, the world would be a much better place.

"These people are criminals using…"

These people are criminals using American Airlines name to hold peoples money. We booked flights in February to go to the Carribean in December, we made a deposit of £1300. Now before we could finish paying this Covid 19 stuff hits so we NEVER wanted them having all this money from us that we couldn't use so we stopped at the initial 1300. Now when we asked about our money because travelling now is not going to happen because of this Covid 19 stuff, Ariel Routes told us our money is with the airlines and that we couldnt get a refund, so we called American Airlines, they don't have a booking for us and they would never take part monies. Now we confronted Ariel Routes Roger and Jack who both have English names but heavy accents so obviously that's not their names (worrying), who now informed us our money is with a third party and that they can't tell us who they are so I lost the plot and started into them over the phone, they final let it out that they have my money and that it's there for future credit, NO I want my money back as they lied using American Airlines name to justify their acts, their not using their true names and are very untrustworthy. I'm contacting Trading Standards and who ever else I can to resolve this before it goes to the old fashioned way......stay away from Ariel Routes!? We are not the only ones with this SAME situation from this company, they are scammers and crooks taking advantage of people's trust and money. STAY AWAY FROM ARIEL ROUTES

"At the beginning they seemed very…"

At the beginning they seemed very engaging in assisting to look for a "cheap" flight. But now they are not even answering emails. First I found an amazing price in American airlines but I thought they could give me a cheaper price. They actually lured me in with a very cheap price for later put a excuse to increase the price even if I had already paid the deposit to bock the price. That was very annoying because I end up paying 150 more per person. I end up buying the tickets with them and if I thought they were kind of rude at the beginning, I was about to see how rude they were gonna get after I paid. Since covid cancelled flights they allowed us to rebook on a later date with the assurance we would not pay a penny extra if the new flights were at a lower or the same rate than the ones we paid. But on the contrary, now that I have found a new date for my flights, and on a cheaper fare than my previous ones, they are saying we have to pay extra tax and fare for the ticket. The staff that answer my calls are the rudest. They yelled at me, I have to pay that fee and there is no other way. And they told me if I want to speak with the manager I can email him.The manager promised me I wouldn't get charged but now he is avoiding my emails. I wont risk it next time! I will buy directly from the airline
