My second purchase from smk performance. I bought an Audi from smk last year and there service was excellent that I have purchase my second car from them again and what can I say, there service is 10/10, really friendly staff, helpful and polite. Had the car 2 days now and I am really happy with it. Would definitely recommend SMK PERFORMANCE. Keep up the good work.

"Nightmare don't trust them…"
Travelled from Liverpool to collect what was supposedly a mint Fiesta ST only to find a crease in the rear nearside wheel arch a scratch down to the metal on the passenger door rust on the front nearside and rear offside wheel arch the rear diffuser was off another car red !!! I was buying an orange one, boot lip was cracked where someone had tried to fit another cover, front bumper was out of line, no spare wheel told they could find one in the yard !!! oh and no engine cover yes the ST does have one fitted,
Interior trim behind the passenger seat was damaged
All in all a total waist of time from what looked like a high end dealer may as well have been a back street dealer bloody awful

Bought a BMW 318i, from booking the appointment to purchasing the car was perfect. Very pleased with SMK, it’s real honest dealership. The car was in fantastic condition, and came with AA 6 months warranty, breakdown cover and they got the car serviced with MOT at the original advertise priced. Would highly recommend!!

Amazing. Couldnt rate them high enough. Brought a vw tiguan from another dealer "hcl" and had nothing but issues. Returned the car and wasnt sure if i wanted to trust another car dealer. After finding a car i was interested in with smk i read there reviews and most were good, although there was a few that arent great but i went with majority being 5 stars and decided to give them a call. Shah was outstanding. I gave him a tight deadline as we had no car. Left a deposit over the phone and was told we could collect the car on Saturday. On friday i called shah and explained i needed a car is there any way i can collect early (the friday) and not only did he get everything done by then he even met me half way with the car as it was late. Having had the car now for 3 days i am over the moon. The only thing that has arrised is some moisture on the inside of headlight. Called up today and sam who was also extremely helpful told me that there customer team will get back in contact with me tomorrow. Even with me saying i can probably dry it out and seal it myself sam insisted on making sure this was right.
Overall an outstanding experience so far with smk and i couldnt be happier, now my partner and child have a nice safe car to drive around in.

I tried to buy a car through SMK. It was quite short notice but they assured me that all would be ready. We agreed a price for my car, which was lower than the market value and in fact would be exchange for a car that was overpriced, so they were about to make a good profit from the sale, but I was under time pressures so agreed to this. I was told the exchange, plus the finance for my purchase and the paying of the surplus funds into my account would happen when I collected the car at the agreed time.
The reason for the bad review
I had stressed before arrival that time was an issue for me, however nothing was ready despite assurances that it would be, and despite my having been very clear as to when I would be arriving.
The car was dirty, the finance had not been sorted, the alleged full service history was 'not here but we have asked the auction house for it' (I had previously asked about the car's history and had been told they had purchased it from the owner, not from an auction.)
They claimed my car had an oil leak (which it does not as I have had it checked at a reputable garage) and that I could leave it with them to pay me, some time in the future!
The premises were shabby and attached to the back of a Marina in the middle of nowhere and the operation seemed to be run by a group of very young people with little experience)
I said I felt they should apologise as nothing was ready and the abrasive young lady just said 'well for what?'!
I felt very uncomfortable there and there were so many little discrepancies between what their website claimed and the actuality that I walked away without concluding the sale.
I honestly don't know if they were utterly inexperienced or utterly untrustworthy but they were certainly utterly unprofessional and I would advise anyone to look elsewhere fi you want the reassurance of a well handled and good value deal.

"Disappointed after being sold a…"
Disappointed after being sold a Mercedes that was advertised with a Sat Nav that did not work. I wasn't informed of this until I asked the owner to show me how to use it. He then said a part was missing (a module) and that he would sort it out and cover the cost. 8 weeks later and I've still had no contact. All my messages have been totally ignored and I have a totally useless Sat Nav which I need for my employment as I work in the community. I've also been waiting 8 weeks for a quote to fit front and rear colour coded sensors. Finally this week an employee has contacted me with a quote of £700!
Annoyed at the wait as I've now damaged my car reversing onto my pitch black drive at night. I am now contacting Trading standards regarding the sat nav. Terrible customer service!
