Wouldn't normally leave a review but thought I would on the basis that some of the others are rather negative. Made a purchase for a new phone, messed up my shipping details and called them. Really well handled and corrections made there and then. Recurved confirmation masks very quickly and tracking details. Prompt service, really happy.

"Maybe just a bad transaction or maybe just a bad company"
I ordered a Nexus 5 32GB. As a precaution I waited for stock to be in before I placed my order. Clove's buying platform looks a bit outdated and dodgy but in spite that, the order came through and I received a confirmation email of shipping, on time. Shipping time was supposed to be 3-7 working days. Note that I live in Greece. The web site for parcel tracking seemed to be also outdated and wouldn't give any information except that the parcel has been dispatched. After 6 or 7 working days of no tracking update I contacted Clove to find out what's wrong. They didn't bother to look into the matter at hand except giving me a snapshot of the same tracking site indicating that the device has been dispatched and a pat on the back to hold on tight and wait it out. In the next 3-4 working days I called and emailed clove but keep getting the same answers. Sure, they were at least polite but unhelpful. I managed to track down the parcel my self which had made a trip to Germany and back to the UK for unknown reasons. In the end I had lost 2 weeks of my time and I received a full refund.
Who's to blame: This might have been a random error of mailing services or it might as well been a postage error from clove (I had tripled checked my address info I gave to clove and it was valid).
Communication: Clove's responses to my email were mostly prompt and very polite. There's a but! After nearly 10 emails and 1 phone call clove did not once got into the trouble to investigate in depth the error of this transaction
Conclusion: Clove has lost my trust. I respect the fact that I received a full refund promptly after providing proof of package not being delivered and the matter is now closed
Suggestions:I suggest more straightforward answers in their communication, being more attentive than being responsive and a major update on their buying platform and order processing structure

"Great customer service"
Well I've just experienced the same problem as a few others - delayed dispatch - but it was pretty minor really and I am still a very happy customer. Nexus 5 32GB was showing as in stock before the August bank holiday. I payed the extra for Special Delivery hoping to get it by the weekend. Customer services actually called me up to tell me that wasn't going to happen after I emailed them to enquire which I thought was a nice touch. Ended up having to wait until Wednesday (Tuesday dispatch) for the phone but I thought the customer service was good and the price on the Nexus was great so I managed to live with the small delay. Never heard of these guys before this order but would certainly use again.

I contacted Clove Technology to enquire whether an item was in stock and received confirmation within the hour, i ordered the item and received the item 48 hours later. They are not the cheapest around but certainly on this occasion, my first dealings with them, i received outstanding service from start to finish.

A little on the expensive side but the quality of service has been great.
I paid extra for the Royal Mail option. The device was on order so Clove sent me an email asking if I would like to have it dispatched directly from the supplier. I replied to agree and it was on it's way. They sent the invoice from their office via 1st class mail.
Unfortunately the courier failed to call the intercom and instead just left a card in the mail slot. I couldn't get hold of UK Mail (premium rate number) but Clove answered the phone immediately and the woman I spoke to was a pleasure. She offered to refund the difference between the Royal Mail option and the UK Mail price.
Issues with the courier aside I would definitely buy with Clove again. Their YouTube reviews are great too!

"Item Arrived Incomplete"
I ordered a Micro Sim Card Cutter (with Sim adapters). However the sim adapter did not come. I am very disappointed as I have 2 phones and one requires a normal sim.

"Buyer Beware"
In the past I have placed orders with Clove and always had my debit card charged if they do not have the item in stock and if you then cancel it can take up to two weeks to get your card refunded. I was going to place a pre order with them for the Galaxy S5 on the 3rd of April for dispatch 11th April they said they would charge my card and wait for the stock to come in, I did not use clove on this ocaation and purchased one direct from samsung UK on the 16th, Clove still do not have any stock and don't know when it will get them in. would not ever use them again.

"fast and good service"
i bought a sony smartwatch 2 and i live in ireland it took 2 days only to deliver to me really fast and gives you really good tracking with dhl
