"The customer service is non existent"
The customer service is non existent. I had a question and couldn't get through on the phone..
I just wanted to know if there was a way to use the bits of LED strip lighting that had been cut off could be used; if there were any connectors sold separately.
The person who eventually replied on Instagram was just rude and unhelpful.
It's a shame because the products themselves are good.

"Great Smart Home Products"
The variety of products are fantastic with Hey We have smart bulbs, smart candle bulbs and water detectors.
All are easy to set up and integrate into the app. They make turning on and off lights so simple and giving you peace of mind with their water detectors.
I would recommend Hey's products they are truly 5*

"I purchased their smart doorbell"
I purchased their smart doorbell - it's cheaper than most others, so I thought I would give it a try and tbh wasn't expecting much - boy! Am I pleasantly surprised
It's brilliant, I love it!
It's so simple to setup, it's responsive, the quality is good in both night and daylight, the sound quality is great and it comes with a little plug chime that's already linked to the doorbell, which I might add has a very good distance of coverage - more than other expensive models I've had
You even have the option to install an SD card, so you can record and view it directly on your phone instantly! I was expecting to have to remove it and plug it into my phone to view it - but no, It transmits from the SD card installed in the doorbell to your phone app - instantly!
I can use my Google home screen to view the camera live
It does everything the more expensive ones do and IMO, better and simpler.
I love how they've designed the reading material - so simple yet modern and funky
I got 3 25% discount codes for further products too
I really love what this company has created and will be showing it off to friends and family
Well done Hey! You've done good work here

"Great customer Service"
I’ve previously bought several products from Hey! And have never had any issues.
However recently had an issue with a new purchase, was glad to find really helpful customer service and Tom was quick to assist, giving advice and arranging a replacement product quickly.

"Satisfied but not without its drawbacks"
I bought Hey! smart bulbs on a recommendation from a friend. I wanted to try out smart bulbs for the first time but as I have a total of twelve bulbs in my kitchen/dining room (including the ceiling light fittings and lamps) I didn't want to spend a fortune buying Philips Hue bulbs. It would've cost me an arm and a leg. The Hey! bulbs were way cheaper and came with a 25% discount too so they worked out about a tenner a bulb. Still not cheap but not crazy expensive.
All in all I'm reasonably happy with the purchase. I like the fact that the Hey bulbs give you the option of switching between a white light or a full range of colours. Unlike the Philips Hue bulbs where you have to buy one or the other, these are both. I can't really see much use for the colours but my kids love playing with them. The white light option also has a colour temperature range that goes between a cold white light and a warm orange, which is good, as I definitely wouldn't want the lights to be a cold white. I have mine set all the way round to the warmest orange light. However, it must be said that even at this setting they are still not quite as warm as the normal LED bulbs I had in before, which is a shame. The loght quality just isn't as nice so beware of that. It's my only real complaint. It's not an option to go to the colour setting for a warmer orange as the colour setting is not as bright and doesn't give you a natural tungsten orange. It's all a bit disco. However, this is a small complaint, outweighed by the benefits.
I really like having control of all the lights from my phone or tablet. I can group bulbs together so I have all the lamps around the living room grouped and can turn them on and off with one push of a button. I can also dim them all together, or individually which is great.
We also have a bulb in our porch which is ideal so when we get home in the dark we can turn on the porch light remotely as we approach the house, which makes it easier to get our key in the door in the dark.
When we're on holiday I'm sure we'll use the timer to turn the lights on and off to give the impression the house is lived in.
I will probably get more of these bulbs for the house over time. However there are a few things I wish Hey! did to make it really worthwhile. I think they should do smart switches for the wall. At the moment we have to leave all lights switched on at the wall in order for them to work. If we, or any of our guests, cleaning lady etc, accidentally flick a switch off at the wall then it won't work from the app next time without us going back and switching it on at the wall again. That might sound obvious but you will inevitably keep flicking switches on and off, as it's such a natural instinct and often easier than getting phone out, so this does disrupt the user friendliness of the system. To make the house truly "smart" it would be best to replace all switches with wired-in smart switches that would allow us to control the lights from either a switch or an app seamlessly. Philips Hue sell a module that goes inside the wall attached to your existing switches to make them smart. That sounds like an ideal system, although those modules cost £39.99 and you'd probably want to hire an electrician to install them so that would not be cheap.
The other thing I'd really like is garden lights. A range of exterior up-lighters, wall lights and floodlights would be great. Philips Hue do them but Hey! don't which is really disappointing. I'd hate to have to switch to a different app just to control garden lights.
One other complaint is that the large bulbs only come as screw-ins (but with a bayonet adapter). Whilst this is a clever versatile design, the problem is that when you add the bayonet adapter it makes the bulb much longer. That might be ok for some light fittings but we have a small lamp which now has the bulb sticking out of the top of it. They sell smaller candle bulbs but they only come in the thin screw-in variety so these won't work on a regular light fitting. There is no solution to this, other than to buy a bigger/taller lamp shade to cover the bulb. This is a bit silly. They could do with selling a standard bayonet bulb, or selling smaller bulbs with the wide base.
It doesn't seem to me that anybody has cracked the smart bulb market at a price that is affordable yet. Philips Hue are clearly the leaders and seem to do everything that I want but the cost is so outrageously expensive that it's just not a luxury I could justify. So for now it's Hey! bulbs for me. I just hope they develop the system more and bring in new products to make it really work well.

"Items arrived quickly following my…"
Items arrived quickly following my order. I was impressed with the build quality and also the software used to control the items. I have integrated all items into my google home without issue. So far I've purchased bulbs, plugs and a security camera and light. I will be adding more of the range in the near future.

"Really reasonable price"
Really reasonable price, works well, colours could be a tad brighter but that’s me being really picky. The white/yellow main lights are extremely bright when on 100% brightness. Good purchase- never going back to having to turn the light switch off again

"They are good"
They are good, only nosn issue I have is that when you turn down the brightness there is alittle dimness anything below 30%
