"Onward had left me and my 5 children in…"

Onward had left me and my 5 children in this cold weather without heating and hot water for over a week, no priority at all, its against the low to leave a tenant without heating and hot water for over 24hr in cold weather yet they left us over a week!!!!! Ignoring all my complaints and keep repeating same thing the part didn’t arrive for the boiler. Go play somewhere else and stupid here.

Very like all the reviews i have been reading i too am experiencing very poor customer care from Onward when reporting repairs.. I have been waiting over 4 months for an urgent roof repair which has now been cancelled 5 times and on the 6th occasion the contractor came at the wrong time and left a note.. My home is soaking wet with water coming in and the damage is mounting up in the upstairs rooms.. My advice to everyone is to do as i am doing now.. Make notes with times, dates and names of who you speak to when reporting a repair.. Keep all emails and when you have been waiting for 3 months or more for a repair to be done lodge a claim with a solcitior for Housing disrepair.. This will be done FREE for you on the no win no fee scheme and i guarantee you that you will see the repairs addressed pretty quickly, and you will get financial compensation too.. Do it now and remember keep notes and details of everytime you report a repair, and keep complaining.. Good luck.

Been on the phone about 10 times over the last month for a roof repair to be done and it’s still not done. It’s been escalated up the ladder supposedly ( again ) but still no sign of it getting done or no phone call back ( as they promised). Very disappointed as usual with onward homes.

"Going backwards"

I would like to ask Onward what their waiting list policy is?
I have been on their waiting list to be rehired for over 2 years now. They showed me a couple of innapropriate properties, then nothing even offered to me for well over a year.
The house I rented was sold from under me, and Onward knew the date I would have to leave. My needs changed, so they changed the list I was on, and now, on checking where I now am on the list, I've gone backwards, and am now even further away from being able to return to my home town.

comeback peak valley whatever did us good people of hattersley do to deserve this lot, they instructed dwp to deduct arrears from my u/c was not aware i had arrears a month later i find out why because now i switch to u/c they demand a month in advance which im not happy about nobody warns you about that one when switching from jsa or esa but worse part is rather than explain that to me in the first place they just assume i am a drug addict or gambler and not fit to pay by myself so they ask dwp to deduct arrears without even being given option to pay myself, dwp then oblige without even checking with me how insulting, you cant contact them because they are still using the pandemic as a excuse not to open offfices i have to contact my local priest wonderful denise at st barnabus to put me in touch because she has a direct line where has they never pick up the phone on their website number, these people claim to be concerned about the well being of their tenants, let me tell you if you have issues like anxiety and depression they add to your woes, its all about the profits for them, money number one

Onward...worse landlord ever.These people offer high quality homes when reality is they are full of hazzards...we have ceilings collapsing,unlevel flooring,mice,leaks,no heating,holes in floors,leaking windows,EICR not done for as long as 20 yrs..no water checks,no asbestos surveys,no fire safety checks,rude managers,complaints never dealt with and then they have the cheek to harass us for rent...AVOID these properties.
