"Superb service and great quality overall"

I had a few issues with packing etc. They took ownership of the problems and replaced the items on the spot. The only negative I currently have is that their hive covers are a bit on the small side and often difficult to align with the inner cover and super. I always need to back up and check to be sure they're seated properly. I've been doing this for well over forty years and this is the first time I've ever had that problem.
Their quality is top notch otherwise.

"Great service and new ventilated suit"

Great communication and assistance! I needed help deciding on suit and glove sizes and the ladies went above and beyond helping me decide the best fit. It wohld be nice if the new ventilated suit came in womens curves and the XS and S gloves werent essentially the same size. I would also suggest longer zippers around the ankles. But... I really like everythinf I've purchased and others from my bee club have purchased suits based on my recommendation. The seam did come apart in one glove but I've stitched that back up. Hope that helps. I will be purchasing from you again :-)

Well. I like the prices in bulk seed, smoker fuel, and candle wicks. Other than that the honey was a little expensive but I understand that. The only issue I did have was the price on shipping. It was 50 dollars about. Seems like alot

"The bee starter package I purchased…"

The bee starter package I purchased arrived intact with lively, healthy bees and queen. Delivery time was longer than expected. Five or six days (depending on when they actually left Georgia) to southern New Hampshire. Considering the rate Pigeon Mountain charges for shipping, I would think they could send a starter package by Express Mail. Otherwise, the bees are doing well, taking a lot of sugar syrup.

"Upon arrival"

Upon arrival, over 2/3s of the bees were dead. The size of the bees were about the size of my fist, perhaps a little smaller. I am hoping to take some of my brood from another hive as they haven't seemed to be able to gain much ground but with the probiotics and bee pollen and feeder, they are maintaining themselves.

"Find a new shipper"

This is no reflection on the service of pigeon mountain. I give the postal service 1 star for service, my bees were 4 days late, their food had been dumped out and the bees were coming out of the crate when they arrived. Of the half that were left, half of them were dead. The remaining bees that have managed to survive have done a wonderful job at building the colony back up. They have 3 full frames full of brood in less than a month. We are disappointed that we basically have to start with a smaller colony than we expected. The bees that survived (aprox 2000) are doing great tho.

"I was late to order bees"

I was late to order bees, and couldn’t find them anywhere online as the season had almost passed, but Pigeon company still had them fortunately. I was cautious about ordering online and half expected the bees to come dead, but they came very healthy, and ready to go! I’m very pleased with this company’s ability to deliver the bees in great condition.
