"Sensational Workmanship & Service"

Soon as I telephoned Barrdale's and spoke to Dale (Snr), I knew this was going to be a great experience and my goodness, it was!

I had an old coffee table, which my Dad had made, almost 40 years ago. For a while, it had been stored in the shed and was not in the best condition. I didn't really know if anything could be done. Dale (Jnr) came along and spent time talking through the options with me and gave me a very reasonable quote. I accepted and he took the table away.

A few days later, he sent me some photos to show me how it was going so far and asked if the colour was what I was looking for. The table was originally a very dark (reddish) brown and I wanted it much lighter. The new colour looked amazing, but I wanted it just a little darker. The following day another photo was sent and it was perfect!

A few days later Dale brought the table back and it was really stunning! The colour was just what I was looking for and the finish was so smooth, it looked incredible. I was blown-away with how good it looked.

It's very rare to get this kind of service and attention to detail. These people clearly care about doing magnificent work and delivering exceptional customer service. I truly wish I could give them 100 stars!

When you contact a company you have never used the first impression by the person answering the phone is most important. It was Mr. Brooks, the proprietor. He was friendly and courteous and explained everything very clearly. It was arranged for the furniture to be assessed. The two young men who came again were courteous, friendly and again explained what could be done and gave me a price. It turned out they were Mr. Brook's sons and excellent ambassadors for the company. The work was carried out and the furniture returned. I was more than satisfied, one piece they did was stunning. The others also, but that one piece meas a lot to me and to see it restored to its original state was wonderful. I cannot recommend this company highly enough.

Barrdale offered a very punctual and efficient service. Dale was clear, knowledgeable and polite when he came to look at our nest of tables and do the quote. He managed to complete them before Christmas which was great. Both pick up and delivery were very good on communication beforehand and on time within the days arranged. We are very pleased with the work and our tables are completely restored They had a lot of water marks as originally they hadn't been treated or finished properly. They now look really good with a lovely warm finish and shine.

What a refreshing change! Barrdale responded immediately to my request, they kept me informed about when they would collect and return my chair - and kept to it!
Frankly I was amazed at how they’d managed to repair it. The chair was in several pieces when it went off to them, this morning I couldn’t even tell where the breaks had been. As a bonus, the young man who did the collecting and dropping off was polite and friendly.

We had a coffee table repaired following damage during a house move. Callum and the team did an amazing job of restoring it making sure the finish would be exactly as we wanted. Really good timely communications too. Would highly recommend them.
