"Installation was an issue"

Ruggs Benedict was very quick to respond to my complaints, and all but one have been satisfactorily resolved.
The carpet in the living room was misaligned, and I was told that nothing could be done - that that was the way the carpet was. However, the carpet in the bedrooms was aligned correctly with the wall.
The installers had damaged the top of a coffee table - Ruggs Benedict promptly repaired it.
The installers forgot to leave any of the remnants - at first I was told that there weren't any. Then I was told they forgot - Ruggs Benedict gave me a small piece to use in case I need it for repair.
All of the tacking strips at the room entrances were not covered - in one instance it cut my bare foot. Ruggs Benedict quickly came and repaired it.
In summary - it seems they sent the B installation team in. Most of the problems were unnecessary. And I still think the carpet was misaligned in the living room.

The carpet installation and choice of seams was excellent. The long staircase was also expertly installed.
My only small complaint was the men that took off the doors by removing the pins, proceeded to carry the doors and lean on the walls with greasy, dirty hands. We had to touch-up paint the wall areas. The door grease came off easily. It was unfortunate that this excellent install job, was marred by dirty hands on the walls and doors.

This is our second time using Ruggs Benedict with Sales Rep Cheryl. We had a flood due to a water heater in our condo in Vail. Ruggs gave us a fast quote at a great price on replacing our wood floor. They handled everything during the instillation since we live in Denver. Having work done remotely can be scary. They took care of everything seamlessly. Furniture was moved, floor replaced, furniture moved back with care, etc. When we were finally able to see the results, we were very, very pleased. The craftsmanship was excellent! I would highly recommend using this company.
