"Don't make the same mistake"

I made the mistake on relying on this company to deliver an order that I placed in good faith. After calling to find out why my order is two days overdue, I was told that it won't actually be sent to me for at least another two weeks. No contact from VKS to explain the delay of any kind, they're just an utter shambles and I won't be using them again. Don't make the same mistake I did and go somewhere else.

"Ridiculous Service"

I placed the order of Cricket Bag on Monday 6 P.M. and paid extra for 1-Day Delivery. I was expecting the order to be delivered on Tuesday but then I called them and then said that the orders after 2:30 P.M. cannot be delivered on the following day hence I was expecting my delivery to be made on Wednesday. This itself is bad because on their payment page they didn’t have this term written anywhere. Am I supposed to scan their website to find the terms and condition of 1 day delivery? Why is it not on the payment page?
After that I get a mail from DPD saying my order will be delivered on Thursday. Really? I paid extra money for 1-day delivery and you are delivering my order after 2 days? I wrote them an email and guys don’t bother responding. When I called them on Tuesday they said, 99% of our customers are okay so you need to look carefully on the website.

"Cricket bat collection - bring your slip"

I've been using this shop for many years (10+), particularly for cricket (bats, pads, gloves) but also badminton (rackets) and tennis (grips). On the 28th July, I left a bat (previously bought from them) to get oiled, knocked in and have protective sheet/tape added.

When I went to collect it, I forgot the slip, but I was pleased that they would be able to find it using my name (I did give them other details eg. date I handed it in, bat name). The lady at the till couldn't find the slip but the elderly gentleman was able to find the bat.

So far so good, but while they were trying to find the original slip (so I could sign I had collected the bat) the lady said I had given her a different name to what was on the slip. I did give her my full name, but she heard my first name. I did point this out - and was annoyed at her insistence it was my mistake.

A couple of points to think about VKS:
1) You need to be specific and request surname (if thats what you use on your slips).
2) Its easy to lose customers with bad service. There was no need to imply I didn't know my own name. Try and remember we all have a first name and surname, just because you are looking for one and it turns out to be the other that is not my fault.

Having personally spent hundreds of pounds in this shop, its sad that they are let down by a bit of poor customer service. I have brought in my friends and family to buy cricket bats and gear from you, so I feel extra bad to have been treated this way.

"Bad service when buying a cricket helmet"

Went to vks to purchase a cricket helmet. There were two older chaps who served me and came across as not too satisfying in terms of tone when asked questions about any returns and exchange of product. Clearly in a rush and after I did make the purchase and asked for a receipt I wasn’t given one with product details instead was told they only do the small till receipt with the amounts on them. When asked for a bag, the guy just left it on the table and did not put the box into the bag nor offered to help. Very bad attitude! I hope this experience is not practiced on a daily basis as it’s such a shame to some of the bigger brands they sell.

"Bad experience"

Ordered a bat on 16 Nov 2017, only got told it has shipped on 5 December 2017 after i had to e-mail and ask about it. Online i paid for Courier shipping, only to find out it was sent via Air MAIL..... excuse is that shipping rates have gone up by 50%.. Then fix your website pricing VKS.....IF I WANTED AIR MAIL I WOULD HAVE SAID SO.... i am astonded that they have a 9 out of 10 rating....... then they send me a Mail thanking me for the 1 star review in a sarkastic manner. Hence me editing this review and adding it.

"Spoke with Vinay at VKS after cricket …"

Spoke with Vinay at VKS after cricket direct were taking over 3 weeks to deliver my order. Ordered and delivered within 24 hours, I'd recommend VKS to everyone looking for cricket gear!

"Great Service!!"

First time ordering with VKS and I must say, it was easy. They replied to all emails very promptly and helped me to choose a bat as well as some pads and gloves. It all arrived the next day and was perfect.

Will certainly buy from them again and reccomend them to my club mates.

"Excellent Service and Trust worthy Online Seller"

I am an Indian living in Kenya. I bought two English willow cricket bats from vks.com. Initially I bought Gray nicolls super nova limited edition. Mr. Vinay understand my requirement and he is a excellent customer mind reader. The bat was amazing and he delivered what he committed. Then again I bought SF black edition and the bat was more than my expectation and impressed very much. In future also, if anything required I will buy from you. They done excellent international shipment like very good packing. Initially I ordered half mind but when I got the first bat I was impressed and I ordered my second bat that also awesome. Strongly recommended for online buyers.

I gave rating 10 out 10. All the best....

"Not happy... Beware when ordering."

I purchased a Nike top, via their website, which stated that the item was in stock and then paid for the item accordingly. I needed the top for a tournament I was participating in and thought by ordering several days in advance that everything would be fine without any problems at all. How I was wrong.
I today received this feedback email by uk trust pilot asking for feedback on my order and thought something was strange especially as the order had not even been delivered. Anyway, I've just logged onto my account with the shop to find out where my top is and it looks like my order has been cancelled just a day after ordering it with the notes on the section saying " Nike no longer do this product anymore - Your order has been cancelled " and basically that is it!
No direct email or telephone from the company to let me know this is the case. Very poor service indeed.
My advice to anyone ordering from them is be very careful as even if the item is in stock when you purchase the item this may not be the case and you might very well be dissapointed.
