"Gallery staircase refurbishment"

This was quite a big refurbishment taking out a 1980's mahogany galleried staircase, and replacing with a light oak and glass contempory one. The stair case structural work took three days, and the decorator another three days, with a couple of hours in there for the carpet fitter to relay existing carpets. Marcus and Ben did an amazing job on the staircase, and work was carried out to a really high standard. Both Jason's (decorator and carpet fitter) again did fantastic work. We're really pleased with the job, the glass reflects back light in the hallway and really brightens the place up. (the old red/brown wood used to just absorb light). I had promised to leave a recent review, as these guys go back to back from one job to next, and they should have feedback which reflects their excellent work. (Andy, Mar2021)

We wanted to use a local company and these guys were helpful and professional from the start. They talked us through our options during the site visit kept us informed of when the work was going to take place. The old stairs were out and the new one in within one working day, very tidy work. A second day was needed for detailing and finishing off, very happy with the result.

Refurbishing our staircase was one of the last things left on our to do list. Having called in several companies, we couldn’t believe the differential in price on the quotes we were sent. Marcus and Ben came round to have a look and from the moment we met them, we felt confident in their ability and found their pricing, whilst not the cheapest, more realistic than several of the other companies. They did not disappoint. The work was carried out to a high standard, with the least amount of interruption and all preparation and cutting was carried out outside the house to avoid dust and mess. We found them to be very professional and personable. They are also great Communicators, an art which seems to be sorely lacking in a lot of businesses today.
