had my ipod with them for 4 weeks, they never repaired, and they still charged me to look at it. They are not what they claim. poor customer service and they keep you in a loop by lying to you. I will never use them again

Got my Macbook fixed which was water damaged and I had all my assignments in it. I didn't knew what to do. I went to Apple and they told me unfortunately it can't be fixed and have to buy new one. As I had all my university work in it, i couldn't even think of buying new one. One day my mate suggested me ibrokemygadget. The staff was really helpfull and kind, through out the repair there were in touch with me..After few days i got call that my laptop is fixed and ready for collection. I was on top of moon as my all assignments and laptop worth £1000 was fixed. The repair charges were also favourable as Apple had told it can't be fixed and have to buy new one! Crazy isn't . Highly recommended and professional service

"Fitting fake Apple screens"

They charge £120 for replacement Apple screen (compared to £89 for non-Apple), which still turns out to be a non-Apple screen!

After the replacement screen repair, my screen was noticeable yellow (a fact they tried to hide by turning on "Do Not Disturb" before handing it back to me).

I told them I wanted my money back so that I could take it to the Apple Store for a repair. I offered £25 as compensation for them fitting an "emergency" screen replacement.

I was told I could only have my money back if I allowed them to remove the screen they had fitted and either give it back to me without a screen or with (someone else's) broken screen fitted.

I said that was not acceptable to me and I took it to the Apple Store who could tell by looking at the phone that it was not one of their screens.

So my advice is that if you have a iPhone that you care about, then wait for an available slot in the Apple Store (£150) rather than take it to iBrokeMyGadget. The £30 difference is easily made up for by not having to go back to iBrokeMyGadget several times.

And pay with a credit card so that if you do experience problems, you don't have to argue with iBrokeMyGadget for a refund, you can just deal with the credit card company.

"Repair for port & left with broken screen!"

I’ve been to the shop three times now twice I’ve had my screen replaced and the third time this last weekend I went in to have the USB port fixed. My screen which they replaced was slightly and I mean very slightly coming unstuck, they replaced this about 4 months ago. I was asked to come back in an hour which I did and it wasn’t done so had to wait for a further 15 to 20 minutes. Whilst I was waiting one of the lads went out to get pizza and returned and he and his colleague began to eat it in the back office where the phones are fixed. My phone was then brought out to me and I was told there was low battery although when I got into the shop I know there was about 30-40% percent still on the phone. I was told to take it home to charge it and it should all be fine. I returned home put straight on charge and it was still around 30-40% so thought odd and straightaway began to notice white lines appearing down the screen which has never happened before. I found it if I put my fingernail in the top right corner under the screen where it was now even more loose from where they take the phone apart and probably rather eating pizza whilst doing it the screen temporarily came back for the last two days I’ve had the same problem with the lines coming up the screen is not fixed down properly and I’ve had to put a paperclip underneath the corner of the phone to be able to use my screen. I have emailed I broke my gadget Monday so have already contacted them about this directly and had NO reply, not even a response and unfortunately now they cannot call me as the screen does not work and completely broke. I have now opened the phone up myself to see what theyd done with the tools and 2 screws actually fell out of the phone And a tiny piece of metal and I have no idea where that’s come from. They had tried to say whilst I was in the shop the dent on the corner of the white of my phone would cause problems with the casing inside the phone and the screen becoming loose but the dent has been there for about 2 years and never caused me a problem and its a tiny one aswell. I can hear it charging I can hear it beep when I get a text but nobody has any way of calling me as I cannot answer the screen because the touch is not working and I have now no screen. I would like you to respond to my email and put right my screen which I feel you have broken whilst repairing my port. Screws should not fall out of the phone from it and I’ve never opened it before so I know it can only be yourselves that have not put these back properly as you are the only company to ever have repaired my screens, 3 in total , 1 my sons costing £45 a time. I just paid £35 for the port on Saturday & now my screen is broken. STILL WAITING A REPLY ??
