"Nottingham office .. Claire? Don’t bother!"
This review is of our final experience of Chem-Dry. Our insurance claim began well, with Chem-Dry first instructed to visit and they were helpful initially. However, when it came to our furniture going into storage and some for French Polishing, then Claire couldn’t cope. She didn’t call when she said she would, our furniture was stored for months and not weeks despite us being ready for it to be returned. Claire blamed Covid, the French Polishers and anything else she could think of .. but none of it was true - we discovered later on.
We were missing two important pieces of furniture after all else was returned. So, we called the French Polishers ourselves - they knew nothing of the pieces and then Claire said my precious cabinet (a Ruby Wedding gift from my husband) was beyond economical repair dye to mould! We knew this to be untrue as it had only got wet up to it’s feet.
We insisted Claire find this cabinet and return it .. she wriggled and wasn’t sure she could (we still believe someone took it and began to sand it down)
It was finally returned and was much paler than when it left here .. and there was no sheen to the wood.
Do not use Chem-Dry Nottingham .. Claire Gascogne was simply no use to us and could not keep her word.
Poor .. just poor

"Kent area franchise of Chemdry"
Kent area franchise of Chemdry.
Very poor and chance they will further damage your property and lie about it. Chemdry customer care just take the side of these cowboys. They say they have investigated the complaint. This means they take the word of the people that caused the damage and do not listen to the customer or send an independent surveyor. If I could give them minus 20 instead of a star I would have. Beware of these cowboys and don’t expect the insurers to back you they just take the word of Chemdry.

"Poor customer service and communication"
Chemdry were contracted by my insurance company to dry out a room after I had a leaking pipe. They came the first day to take the floor up which was fine. They then came the second day to scrabble the concrete and turned up with a blunt scrabble and proceeded to take up the floor with a drill. This led to damage to my walls and skirting and kicked up huge amounts of potentially lethal concrete dust (I have children living in the home?). I mentioned that the scrabbler should be used so that the dust is vacuumed away as part of the machine. They said they would return the next day with proper equipment... They turned up the next day with ANOTHER BLUNT SCRABBLER... carried on wihh the drill regardless
When the floor was finally dried out they certified it dry obly for it to be found to be wet when my flooring guy cam to lay the new floor. They were then sent back out to check the floor and confirmed it was wet again. They said they would send in an emergency report to the insurance company to prevent further damage... This was a week ago and still there has been no report filed despite me ringing and texting the technician directly several times (he ignored my calls and texts). I am now left with a wet floor still and am still waiting for the insurance company to receive the report whicb they have personally chase twice.
Shocking company with terrible customer service.... Avoid at all costs!!!

"Rip-off charges..."
Make sure you get an estimate for any work done. We have used Chemdry before - and been very happy with their service.
I don't know if it's a result of post covid lockdown, where we have all been sat at home not spending money. But, £120 to clean a 4x3 tiled floor. If they think this is acceptable, they need to give their heads a wobble. I know we have all not been spending, but, I think this is cynical to up their prices accordingly.
Sorry to say, thats a blatant rip-off. Well, I always say someone can lift my leg once, but, they will never get the chance again.

"Chem-Dry London appalling"
I have tried to contact Tali at Chem-Dry London 3 times for a quote and have not had a response.
I have called twice and left voice messages asking her for a call back and have received no response. On my 3rd call I was told rather abruptly by whoever answered the phone to email in and the query would be dealt with. I have yet to receive a response to that either. Shocking customer service. I will now look elsewhere.
