"We wanted to buy a British made good quality sofa "

Our well known and trusted brand of power reclining 3 seater sofa is very uncomfortable to sit on and has been from the day it was delivered (5 years ago).
So we went to Carters to see what they had to offer, and we wanted to make sure that the sofa we bought was made in Britain.
Malcolm and his assistant Jess were very helpful in giving us all the advice and information we needed on the sofa we had selected. This is a British made sofa -which is what we wanted, but Malcolm advised that the manufacturer had been taken over recently. I was concerned that the quality/standard would drop due to this takeover (as it normally does), but Malcolm assured us that the technical specifications/quality has not changed.
There was a discount on offer too, so we placed an order for this sofa and are eagerly awaiting its delivery.

The sales person, Matthew was really helpful and had an extremely good knowledge of the items for sale

Excellent no pressure service from knowledgeable staff. Showed us a good variety of beds and explained the differences with each enabling us to make an informed choice.

Friendly welcome when we entered the showroom. We had researched, prior to visiting the shop, types of beds available. so we had some idea on what we wanted. Sally Gee, the sales person, was extremely knowledgeable and guided us towards beds which fulfilled our wishes. This saved time. We were encouraged to try out beds. There was no sales pressure, just help at each step of the way. An enjoyable experience and our new bed is now on order. We would recommend Carter's Bed City and would certainly shop there again
