Not being a local, I didn’t know about Carters, I discovered it on the Harrison Spinks stockist page. Previously, when I’ve tried to buy a bed from ‘other places’, I’ve come away hot, bothered, confused with terrible back ache and empty-handed. But this shop is totally different, it’s a proper old-fashioned bed shop where all the staff are experts on all the different beds and their qualities. They have a HUGE collection of Harrison Spinks beds which were the ones I was interested in trying out as they are hand-made in Yorkshire and use natural materials. Paul was fabulous and very patient as I tried out different beds. He humped around different mattress toppers for me as we tried out different combinations. There was no hard sell but I took the plunge and bought one and oh my goodness, what a bed, I truly didn’t think there was a bed out there that would suit my particular back problems, but Paul found it. It’s so comfortable and now I look forward to bedtime. A truly wonderful shop. Thank you.
