My experience with Beehive P2P Limited has been rather disappointing, having had the opportunity to participate both as a company seeking funding and as an investor. My experience is that Beehive does not seem to conduct thorough financial record verification for the companies seeking loans on their platform. This lack of scrutiny has resulted in a considerable risk of loan default, leaving investors in a precarious position.

As an investor, I find myself with a substantial sum of money tied up for three years now, and unfortunately, I have little hope of recovering it. Even companies with high ratings, such as A or B+, which should theoretically offer more assurance of their creditworthiness, have failed to repay their loans. The communication from Beehive regarding the reasons for non-payment is often unclear and leaves investors in the dark. It appears that Beehive has essentially given up on some of these defaulting companies.

This experience has shattered any illusions I had about the management of debts in the UAE. The fact that companies with seemingly good credit ratings are defaulting on their loans raises serious concerns about Beehive's due diligence and risk management processes.

UPDATE: After this review, Beehive converted all pending investments into bad debt, which confirms that I should not expect to be repaid. This is a stark contradiction to their claim that "Management and our Collections team have never stopped thinking of ways and new strategies for recovering payments." It is clear that their efforts in managing and collecting debts have been inadequate, further confirming my negative experience with their platform.

This is a shady platform. The companies are hyped up and their past bad performance is ignored while rating the investment quality. I invested via the platform in 2019 and so far, several of my investments have been declared NPL with no hope for recovery. So I would advise everyone to stay away from the platform

Seemed like a reasonable platform, HOWEVER, upon investing i found the following;
1. The terminology in the D+ settings is unclear and can lead to over bid - was my experience
2. Customer service is very slow (2+ days???) and very dismissive - like they are doing you a favour to solve a problem
3. If u push them a bit - as i did - then they unilaterally put your account into "wind-down" where u can't invest anymore? (Common occurrence from reviews i now see)
4. If you try to reason with them to reverse it - they circle the wagons to justify their position - or hide from you for weeks All in all - looks good on the outside, but in reality it's like an old bank trying hard to be a fintech - with really poor/unclear net performance track record & customer service.
fun experiment but recommend something like; sarwa in the UAE - much more customer focused, user friendly and transparent.

Was good at the beginning but then happened to be poorly managed. No communication to investors on NPL investments, no real updates on defaulting loans. Better stay away until they start doing something about it.
