"Very happy with my gorgeous new sofa!"

Very pleased with my comfy, gorgeous new sofa! It was very easy to choose exactly the style and shape of sofa I wanted from the website, and to ensure it would measure up in my fairly compact living room. I also ordered a few fabric swatches to choose from before choosing my sofa, and so when my sofa arrived the fabric was exactly as I expected. I chose the Modena fabric which looks gorgeous.

Delivery service was also excellent, very reliable. The delivery men called to let me know that they were on their way on the day I was advised, and they also advised their expected time of arrival.

Very pleased all in all, my new sofa is also really supportive and sturdy to sit on, and I am expecting it to last for many years!

Looks and comfort combined. Durability yet to be tested as the sofas were only purchased earlier this year but I have no doubt they will prove as good in this area as in the others I mentioned.

This company is great! Fabric samples were sent timely without hesitation. We were informed about the status of our order from start to delivery. It was like dealing with a friend. Such a personable service.

The delivery chaps were also helpful. I had left my mum to revieve the order who was on chemo at the time and the chaps were so helpful and didn't let her life a finger.

We've had the sofa for 18 months now and it's not shown any signs of wear or tear. It's such a top quality!

It felt a bit risky ordering a sofa without trying it, but everything was as described and I will highly recommend this company :-)

"lovely sofa"

I ordered a sofa from lovely sofas after my friend got one and was impressed by the quality.. I ordered sample swatches. to be honest, I would not have ordered the sofa I did if hadn't seen my friend's one. The swatches are good, but the photos on the internet are with the colours superimposed. I think photos of the real sofas would have been much, much more helpful. The sofa i ordered is lively, but I wouldn't have chosen it from the picture or the swatch!! You couldn't tell it was going to look good from the internet picture! The price was very good and timescale not too bad. The only bad bit really, was the delivery, which was awful. We waited hours and hours past the delivery time. No phone call. The lorry had got held up by an accident, but they didn't think to call. I had to chase it up. Finally arrived late at night!
The sofa is lovely, hard wearing and perfect for our needs. There was a bit of movement in the filling at the front, which I should have phoned up about, but didn't get round to. If I had, I'm sure it would have been sorted out, and is only a minor thing.
To sum up, I love my lovely sofa. It is comfy and well made and I would recommend to anyone.

When we first arrived at the warehouse we were greeted by a lovely lady who was very helpful. Our whole experience was great. They did mix up the delivery dates however John sorted out everything and re arranged delivery at a set time suitable to us. Very happy with the product and the service we have recieved.

My Sofa looks stunning, and the purple colour I chose goes well with my décor. It is really well made and very sturdy. The only draw back is the fabric I chose has gone rather bubbly, and I am the only one that sits on it. But I still love my Sofa.

I love my sofa it is so glamorous and sheek! The quality is fantastic and the customisation freedom was brilliant for our strange layout of room! Everyone who comes in my house loves it! It has turned my living room into the boutique style I could only dream of! Fantastic service from walking into the show room meeting Adele who was fantastic to the delivery guys and all their efforts to walk my sofa into my living room! A flexible service well worth the money which actually worked out a better price than mass produced sofas that any other could have! Thank you so much I will be straight back if I ever need another! .. And I'm from birmingham!

"Lovely Sofa, truly despicable delivery drivers."

Interestingly LovelySofa's never invited me to post a review - I wonder if that's why there are so many positive ones on here?

This is one of the worst companies I've ever dealt with - read my reviews you'll see I've encountered a few over the years! To cut a long story short, (if you want the long story Google 'ayrshire cat-napped daily record'), when my sofa was delivered, unknown to anyone, my cat jumped into the back of the delivery van. She turned up 20 miles away although the company repeatedly assured as that she'd got out of the van at our place. What a coincidence that she turned up within 200 yards of their next delivery! With a lot of luck and help from many people in the local community we got her back 3 days later causing great distress to my children in the process. To this day Lovely Sofas still haven't accepted responsibility - worse still they've got the cheek to charge me to return their 'lovely sofa'!

It's only fair to say that the sofa they sent is very nice. However there's no way on this earth I'm paying money to a company that would cause such distress for the sake of a simple phone call to tell us what had happened. Would you if it was your pet or your children? There are plenty of other reputable furniture makers out there.

I think it's only fair to add that it's taken a few weeks and countless emails to TrustPilot to get this review posted. Firstly the company disputed the review for violating editorial guidelines and then they asserted that I hadn't actually purchased anything from them! I'll leave it for you to draw your own conclusions as to how they've retained such a high rating for so long. Barge pole anybody?
