Our conservatory is used and enjoyed daily. It's one drawback is glare - only a problem if you want to use IT or watch TV. We considered traditional pleated roof blinds, but decided they looked dated. Also they were impossible to remove for cleaning and weren't washable. Internet search found Shadeplus: their range of sails were refreshingly appealing. We contacted Shadeplus who were very helpful, my husband measured for the sails, they were posted to us, my husband installed them. Job done! The sails enhance the ambience of the conservatory and solve the glare problem. They unclip easily, are not heavy to handle and can be washed, so no fly-marks. If you decide to do your own measuring, make sure you have someone who knows what they're doing. A quality product from a helpful, friendly firm.

I found the company very friendly to deal with and the after sales service first class.
The shades are expensive, however, after about four years and several washes the shades look as good as new. If you want quality well fitted and top class shades look no further.

The sails I purchased have been a godsend in our Conservatory. Some were made to measure and the instructions on how to measure were easy to follow. From start to finish everything went smoothly. They look good, are easy to remove to wash, and they keep out the glare of the sun. A friendly company to deal with and would not hesitate to deal with again.

"Makes all the difference to our conservatory"

We are really pleased with our sail shades. We ordered them because I work from home sometimes and I love to work in the conservatory, but of course it was too bright in the summer. Also with the midges in Scotland it's not always possible to have the windows open all the time, so the shades also cut down a bit on the heat - not hugely but they do make a difference. The room still feels airy and light but it also feels more substantial, as if it's got a proper roof. I can't really explain but it felt a bit like a box before, and now it feels more homely. This is especially true in the winter as it means you don't see blackness above you, so it feels lighter when it's dark if you know what I mean. Would also like to add that the customer service was great - real attention to detail when installing the shades and this has made a big difference. Thanks!

"Excellent service, excellent product"

The ordering process was very easy to negotiate, the telephone support was really customer focussed and helpful with numerous possible designs being suggested to us before we finally decided and placed the order. The order arrived promptly, as promised, and upon unpacking we were struck by the clear quality of the finish of both the sails and of the fixings. We self-installed, which was very simple and straight-forward, and before very long we were able to admire the finished effect. Over a year later we have now experienced the sails through the seasons and are really pleased with the job that they do, and of course they were so easy to take down and put into store for the winter.

I would highly recommend the conservatory sails we bought. They are good quality and easy to take down and wash in the washing machine. And most important is that they shade the conservatory without loosing lots of light. Well worth the money.
