"Stupendous"

We ordered our sails at the latter part of last Summer, ordering, measuring and photos of the conservatory were done by us and then details given to the company, who were very helpful in telling what measurements were required etc. They kept us regularly informed of the progress of our order, arrived promptly and the instructions given to hang the sails were easy to follow, although hubby being an engineer may have had the advantage over someone who is not too good at DIY. Very, very pleased with the sails they finish the conservatory off nicely and we have noticed a difference with the shading of the sun. Highly recommended.

"Seemed expensive but well worth it."

These are a great alternative to conventional blinds, especially on complex shaped roofs. We found out about shade plus by accident; the sails area lot more affordable than normal blinds but did seem expensive for a sheet of fabric. Anyway, we needed something and ended up talking to them.

Customer service was excellent from the start, with good advice, plenty of help getting the design right and no pressure from the sales team.

When the sails arrived (very promptly and with good communication throughout), the manufacturing quality was very high with neat seams, polished, strong brackets and even decent screws. Fitting the sails took no more than an hour including working out where to put the brackets. The fabric itself is pretty special - it is much stronger than I was expecting but still filets rather than blocking the light so the room is bright but no longer glaring.

The sails have been up about 6 months now and look perfect - they seem to resist fly dirt and have not been affected by a few condensation drips on the nights this winter. When they do need washing it will only takea few seconds to unhook them and it is great they can go in the washing machine.

Overall: yes, I thought they were expensive for a couple of squares of fabric but they are far cheaper than custom conventional blinds, easier to maintain and looka lot better. The only thing I would change isa beret fitting guide to take the guesswork out of how much this stuff stretches and which way up to put it. Thankyou Shade plus!
