I've been doing tris for a few years but never really trained properly. I struggled through a couple of half Ironmans and knew that when decided I wanted to do a full Ironman I would need help. A friend put me onto TriDot and it was honestly the best decision I could have made!
It takes all the guesswork out, you just have to enter your races - A, B it C, and do the workouts assigned to you. You can push all the sessions to your device, including the swim sets, and you can even enter whether the workout will be indoors or outdoors and it will adjust the intensity/length of the session to suit the local weather.
My race time was predicted perfectly and I finished the Ironman with so much confidence! I'm now training for my second one and using the predicted race time to work on my new goal of a 12 hour full, I know I can get it done using TriDot.

I started TriDot to help me cross my first 70.3 finish line and I surpassed my goal by 1 hour!!!! I've always created my own running plans but had no idea how to do the same for cycling or swimming so I turned to TriDot. This app saved me so much time and kept me focused. Once a week I'd look at the plan and my schedule for the upcoming week and adjust as needed. Then reach day I just followed the plan. With triathlons, marathons, and trail runs all in one season I loved how TriDot adjusted the plan to maximize results and prevent injury. Honestly, I doubted along the way, "if this would really work" but decided to trust and follow the plan... Now I'm a believer.
Oh and the support team is phenomenal! Any questions I've had were answered in hours.
I do suggest investing in a HR monitor and power meter for your bike. Data out (the plan) is only as good as data in (your workout performance). Getting accurate measurements will help TriDot best personalize your plan.
