"Pricing confusion and messy customer service"

The website was very confusing and the pricing came in much higher than expected.
I received multiple emails and a call with added charges due the prescription. The last email I received was stating I missed a step and they had to add on $65. When I pushed back that I was already charged more two separate times
For the order, the customer service representative then was able to locate that I had been charged. It was just chaotic and messy. It didn’t seem like they have it together yet. I am still waiting to get the goggles and hope they are great because they were very expensive.

"Cautiously Optimistic, but Validated"

I was only cautiously optimistic when I heard about you from a fellow on a ski lift at Gore Mt., NY; but I ordered the Rx goggle insert based on this guy's recommendation. I just tried it out in Colorado, and it worked much better than I had hoped! Thank you!

"Do not order prescription swim goggles from these people"

I ordered a pair of swim goggles with prescription inserts. The prescription inserts were correct for my eyes. The swim goggles, however, were a poor design, and I could not get them to work. They either leaked (when loosened) or fogged up (when tightened) so much that they were useless. I got several squirrelly replies to my complaints, suggesting that it must be my bone structure that was the problem and that I could try sending the goggles back, but they would determine just how much of a refund I could get based on their assessment of how pristine the goggles were. They also mentioned that they couldn't be more accommodating because they are a three person company without many resources. I don't consider that a good excuse for poor customer service.

The company was so helpful! When my goggles broke a week before my vacation, they sent me a loaner pair because my new ones wouldn’t make it on time. I really appreciate all the help, you made my vacation even better!

I changed my rating from a 2 star to a 4 star because it was my fault that I over looked in the small print that my order could take 30 days. 11/28/24 I confirmed my lens details, so I would imagine 12/28/24 is my 30ish day mark. Depending on when I receive my order, I will either add a star or take away. I am trying to be fair with my review.

"Costumer Service A+++ "

First of all, the product I bought is fabulous and the prescription lens’s are perfect. The phone customer service was great as well. I also appreciated the fast delivery service for the lenses.
The only thing I had trouble with was navigating the website as I found it hard to find accessories like the leases for goggles etc. I thought I could buy them on your website but I ended up going to another company to order the product. I also had to call in to get a receipt for the lenses because it wasn’t emailed. I think that is important to have a statement directly from the lens's company to ensure that the order was placed after payment.

First time customer. Very happy with our purchase. Quick shipping, goggles fit my son very well and he is happy to see clearly in the water now. I did have to do additional research on how to pick the right prescription for him (due to astigmatism), so adding this info to the website would be helpful to first time customers. We'll return when we need new googles.

Excellent post sales support! Have you ever gotten the feeling that your order actually mattered to anyone at the big online retailers? Didn't think so, cause I haven't either...

This was my first order from Sport Eyes and the team there jumped to help with some international shipping issues, rather than just leaving me to figure it out, or find a different retailer.

I am very happy with Sport Eyes and will be recommending them to my colleagues and will be a loyal customer.

"BEWARE"

If you are ordering Aquaviz swim goggles from Sport Eyes.com, you need to know that there will be two layers of glass. When water gets between the layers, you will not be able to clear it. It will obstruct your vision.
Sight for Sport Eyes says in its info that the prescription is an insert, but they do not warn that it will make two layers of glass and that water will get between the layers and obstruct your vision.
When I discovered this problem, Sight For Sport Eyes said they would only refund the base amount of the goggles, that is $75 out of a total of $260. BEWARE.
