"The entire process was a mess"

The entire process was a mess. My original snow removal person had their equipment break down and could not make it to remove the 18 inches in my spare paking space.

My boyfriend suggested the app and I scheduled for snow removal. I included a not that a plow might not fit into my parking space, and I suggested a snowblower. I also included an aerial photo showing where snow needed removal snd where they could put it. I put in the order and waited. A few hours later i received a notice that the work was done. However, nothing was done. I contacted customer service and let them know. She said she would get that corrected. I received and email at around 1 AM telling me they had done the work and sent a photo of the finished work. Unfortunately, it wasn't my house. I responded back that it wasn't my house and then got no response until 4:51 AM saying.they needed photos. When I got out of bed the next morning i sent photos of the front of my house, my garage, and the parking spot showing the snow still there. I was informed at about noon that someone would be there in 45 minutes to an hour. After 2:00 PM I emailed again letting them know it was over 2 hours since they had given me an eta. Finally at around 3ish someone showed up a did the work and was helpful. A day later than I had hoped for.

While I believe the customer service staff tried to help me, I was.aent around to 4 different people to try and get this corrected. I was disappointed in the lack of communication about timing and issues and I won't be using this app ever again. This whole ordeal was frustrating and I hope they prove their business model or they will continue to lose business.

"First time using as we are out of town"

First time using as we are out of town. I wanted extra sidewalks done and put that in the comments. WAnted driveway plowed when snow ended which was in the middle of the night. I kept texting and they kept telling me they would get back to me. Never answered my question about city sidewalk until after the fact. Came at 11 pm, sent a photo that I couldn’t even tell was my driveway. There is no number and they could have cared less about actually completing the job correctly after I prepaid. Moral of the story is don’t prepay for anything you want to get good service for.

"Save time and avoid this company"

I'm writing this review in hopes of saving others time and money. Avoid this service! My parents are older and unable to care for their lawn. In an effort to find ongoing service for them, I booked a yard clean up through plowz and mowz. The first team that arrived said they couldn't do the job as clearly described on the app. They attempted to charge my parents more then left once I provided proof of the service I ordered. The second team (different day) started the job, then said they had equipment issues and would return the next day. They then cancelled on the day they were set to arrive. Prior to the third team arriving, I asked plowz if this team was clear on the job requirements. Their response was, in short, that the team would see the job info on the app. My response was, given the numerous problems with this job, it would be good business practice to actually speak to your contractors to avoid disappointing a customer once more. Plowz did not respond and, of course, there were more issues so I cancelled the job all together and went with another company who handled it right away. This situation took place over multiple days and I STILL didn't use plowz and never will. This company is only as good as the contractors they hire. Until they care about their customers, hire AND PAY contractors that care as well, it will always be a mess. This one job could have led to thousands of dollars over the years. Instead, I plan to stay FAR away from this company and suggest you do the same. I'd rather pay a good contractor directly than to pay this company to give them a small cut of the profits. Finally, I also asked who to direct my complaints to and they suggested I direct them to the same number that I'd been texting regarding the job. Why?! To ensure no one actually saw my complaint of course. Bad business all around, run.

"Based on only customer service"

Based on only customer service. Scheduled mulching service over a week ago.

Reached out for eta. Was told that's not how it's done.

Day of i reached out to see if it was still happening and am told they couldn't get the mulch.

Said i want to cancel and they question me. Ha. Don't waist your time.

"Call someone else."

I was not called when they showed up and my vehicle ended up getting towed. The snow didn't get removed to enable me to move my car and because of that my car got towed by the city. They said they would call upon arrival so that I could show them where my car was, but they did not call and instead assumed it was already taken care of, but they still charged me. I lost close to $400 for the Plowz & Mowz untouched job and tow retrieval fees, all during the holidays when I most needed the money. Do yourself a favor and call someone else for your snow plowing needs.

"They are the worst company to deal"

They are the worst company to deal. The consumer service is awful you ll wait for over a week to get service done. They use the same three excuses. Don't waste your time or money with them

"If I could give zero stars I would, too"

I have used this service more than once. As much as I would like this last mow to be the last time, because of their shady business practices I have a credit. So the next mow will be the LAST mow. I don't measure my grass. I estimate the height before placing the request. Less than 5" - $55.00. After more than one delay (which is as per usual) and me asking for updates, (again as per usual) the provider shows up saying that it's 8"! The shady folks decide to add another $69.00! A brand new quote for 5-10" is $69.00. So I paid almost $130.00 all in! WTH!!! Next call is to my bank to dispute the charge. One more mow so I don't lose my whopping $15.00 credit and then it's bye bye slim shady. Just like everyone else, I wish I read the reviews first. I'm lucky I have a plow guy that is great and priced fairly. And next year I'll be sure to use someone else. You can go broke with these people.

"Unsatisfactory service"

"For MOWZ™, basic mowing, trimming, and blowing clippings off hard surfaces is included."

I paid for this service twice within 7 days, each job was incomplete and unsatisfactory. Plowz and Mowz has refused to have a new service provider or anyone re-mow. Furthermore, they refused to help me find a different service provider. Additionally, they refused to refund any portion due to the incomplete work.

"This Is PURELY flaw not business"

This so called remote connecting operators to customer service is PURELY flaw. These people tries to assign job requests to a pool of local people who can take care of the job. If they don't have enough or any people in that local area; you will simply be in an infinite loop of 'we are working on your assignment, we will get to you as soon as we can'. No business structure what so ever. When you communicate with them, with each person you are dealing with, you will start from scratch explaining the need you have; all of a sudden you are on another infinite loop. When you ask for notification if they can get to it or not; they can't even say, sorry we can't do it, at the time they would promise. Let alone they charge twice what you can get it done. Want to pay double? Want to hit the lottery of getting your job done? Then this is the company. Filed for BBB. Done with them after trying to get this working.
